Usually we end up seeing a Gameloft title appearing on the occasional Android device when a new one hits store shelves. This also is usually a demo version most of the time. However that will be changing with the upcoming GamePad 2 from Archos as Gameloft will have two full free games pre-installed onto the upcomin gaming centric tablet.

Last week we talked about a pretty decent sized update that Gameloft was gearing up to release for Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. The update even has an official name called Meltdown and features two new game modes to player against other people in, new weapons and other content to check out.
While Gameloft was at E3 2013 showing off Asphalt 8: Airborne and Modern Combat 5 (which is pretty damn good), the developers over at Gameloft have been hard at work on an update for Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour which is being called the ‘Meltdown’ update. While most updates don’t usually have a name given to them, this one is actually a pretty big update in terms of content.
Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour has had an update pushed to it today and while it isn’t the biggest update in the world, if you own a Moga Pro game controller, it is an update that will make you happy. That is because the update now adds support for the Pro version of Moga’s game controller.
Gameloft has decided to put up their most recent addition to the Modern Combat franchise on sale for a mere dollar for a limited time. For those of you who are FPS game fans and haven’t picked up Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, now would be a good time to do so since you’ll be saving around $6 with this sale.
It appears that Android gamers are getting a double shot of good news in the past 24 hours. Along with Rockstar Games putting Grand Theft Auto: Vice City back onto the Google Play store, Gameloft has also put Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour back up as well after it to was taken down due to some downloading issues users were experiencing.
What was supposed to be the official launch of Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour last night has unfortunately taken a turn for the worst and Gameloft has pulled the game from Google Play temporarily. The problem? Well we don’t exactly know what specifically the issue was but a Gameloft spokesperson did release a statement to PocketGamer to address the issue… sort of.
So, the Android community has waited in bated breath for Gameloft’s latest war-themed shooter Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, and it is out now for all FPS lovers and soldier-wannabes alike on Google Play. The 4th installment in Gameloft’s popular Modern Combat franchise takes you all around the globe – from Antarctica to Barcelona – and puts you in the shoes of the good and bad guy.
Last week a copy of Gameloft’s newest installment into the Modern Combat series got leaked out onto the internet. Whether this has prompted Gameloft to announce a release time frame or not is unknown but either way we now have a better idea of when Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour will be arriving on Google Play.
This morning there are a few hints that Gameloft’s newest addition to the Modern Combat series could be on its way to Google Play real soon. Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour is the next installment into the series and has been heavily covered over the past couple of months while we wait for its release. It now looks like we may not have much longer to wait and here is why we are thinking this.
