I’m sure some of you may be puzzled by this… I was. Batman: Arkham Origins showed up in the Play Store a few weeks ago. However, it said that it wasn’t compatible with my devices. I was kind of bummed out by this because I finally have devices that can run it graphically. So, like I do with most games that I want to play that may be in a soft launch or have exclusivity with a particular device, I added it to my wish list.

Coming Soon to Android: Light in the Dark by Dreamgate Studios – Physics, Puzzles and Color Blending Fun
Dreamgate Studios has released a charming and witty trailer for their first game release Light in the Dark. It will arrive in the Play Store later this year in September. With a nod to Indiana Jones in the trailer and colorful graphics akin to Cut the Rope, Dreamgate Studios has crafted what a mix of physics and color blending mechanics to puzzle your brain.
If you have been waiting for a while to get that next game that has a great story, unique graphics, engaging music and it happens to be a puzzle/platformer… wait no longer. Thomas Was Alone recently arrived in the Play Store. If you are familiar with the game you can bypass the back story and hit the download button below. I won’t be upset if you do… really. If not, I promise I will make it relatively brief and then you can hit the download button.
Every now and then it is a good idea to take on new gaming challenges in different genres. It helps to keep the mind sharp. MAG Interactive, the team behind the original word game Ruzzle, which has been downloaded by over fifty million people returns to the Play Store with a new game entitled Ruzzle Adventure. If you enjoyed the first Ruzzle game, this one throws in a few new twists and is as full of word challenges as its predecessor. This time around the game is single player, but social components are still built in for you to enjoy.
Gango Games and Fabraz have crafted a game with depth and a robust amount of fun based on a simple concept and a myriad of pixels. Cannon Crasha was released earlier this month in the Play Store. The goal of the game is uncomplicated; destroy your enemy’s castle. The way you choose to do that surprisingly, is based on an array of options and strategic implementation. This is what makes Cannon Crasha a blast to play.
Colossal is one of many words that can be used to describe the game that will be released 09.09.2014. Bungie’s latest project Destiny will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game will be grand in scale to say the least. If there ever were a need for a companion app for a game, this would be the game. You are in luck because the companion app is available now in the Play Store, which coincides with the launch of the Beta that has just begun.
Gamevil is no stranger to the Android gaming community. They just reached over 400 million mobile downloads. That’s pretty impressive. This week Kritika: Chaos Unleashed was released in the Play Store. If you like quick-paced action in which you battle countless foes, Kritika just may be the game for you.
Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games are all the rage these days. It’s nice though to be able to take part in an epic fantasy quest from the comfort of your couch as opposed to sitting at your PC. Nexon M’s game will allow you to do just that later this summer. Their most recent project, Legion of Heroes is a PC quality MMORPG for your mobile devices.
Phenomenally gifted is one way to describe Edson Arantes do Nascimento, also known as Pelé. After watching fifteen minutes of a documentary covering his dribbling, passing and scoring skills, I was amazed. Football’s (soccer) most well renowned player has arrived in the Play Store. Pelé: King of Football is the first game from mobile application design and development group Cosi Productions, based in New York. If you have enjoyed games like Flick Soccer! by Full Fat Games, you will definitely want to download this game. It is enjoyable and has plenty to offer.
All racing fans can get excited. Pixelbite is at it again and we are pretty sure that the third time’s the charm. It was recently posted on Pixelbite’s web page that Reckless Racing 3 will arrive this fall for Android devices. For those of you that may not be familiar with Pixelbite, their games for mobile devices include: Reckless Racing, Reckless Racing 2, Reckless Getaway and Repulze.
