A developer going by the name of Tricore has released a video showing how to achieve remote multi-touch using your Android devices and the Mad Catz MOJO game console. This is done through the use of tweaking a few settings on the Mad Catz MOJO console (rooted I believe) and Tricore’s keymapper which is apparently still in development.

Google has announced today that Google Play Games will be getting support for multiplayer gaming cross-platform with iOS devices. This means that developers on Android that also make iOS games and have multiplayer gameplay can now mesh the two platforms and their player bases together.
There happens to be a decent amount of music-based games out there in the mobile gaming world, whether it be a rhythm-based title or just something themed around music in general. However we haven’t seen a game yet where you can unlock a new album from a music artist from within the game itself. That is, of course, until Alien Ride came along.
Steve Jackson’s Sorcery! gamebooks have been around for quite some time, originally debuting in 1983. These books were like a sub-series of the Fighting Fantasy franchise and while Tin Man Games is delivering those titles to us, indie game developers Inkle will be bringing the Sorcery! series to us next month.
The other day Rovio began teasing a new Angry Birds game, emphasizing the word ‘epic’ about twenty times in the process. Well more details are out and guess what this game is called? Angry Birds Epic. Go figure right? Well that may not have blown your mind but the fact that this new Angry Birds game is apparently a turn-based RPG will most likely do the trick.
NinJump developers getting into third-party publishing with new company Backflip Publishing, two games on the way
Having already been quite successful in the mobile gaming scene with games such as DragonVale and NinJump, Backflip Studios is now expanding to include third-party releases onto mobile as well. This will be done through a new company / brand called Backflip Publishing.
Google has confirmed that they have purchased Green Throttle, a small Bluetooth gaming company that would use their controllers, along with your Android device and their app, and essentially turn your Android device into an Android gaming console. As long as your device was able to use Bluetooth and HID-Controllers, you could use your Android device as a game console.
It’s been an interesting few months since Flappy Bird’s release onto Android and iOS before being taken down from the developer of the game, Dong Nguyen. Citing everything from the game ruining his life to being too addictive, Nguyen pulled the game down. Subsequently a massive storm of clones ended up being released onto both platforms afterwards. I’m sure the game making $50,000/day had nothing to do with that at all.

We were one of the first sites to receive a Mad Catz Android-powered MOJO game console and since we received it we have been working on a review for this console, tossing everything at it that we could. We wanted to do an extensive review of this console, mainly because this one held the most promise of bringing the micro-console industry in Android to a new level.
