Zombie Wonderland 2 is a game we have been reporting on for about a couple of months now. It is a combination of zombie survival shooter and tower defense wrapped up in some pretty solid 3D eye candy. For those of you who have been waiting for this to come out, the wait is almost over finally.
Huawei has unveiled two new Android phones today called the Ascend P1 and Ascend P1 S, one of which is labeled as the world’s thinnest smartphone, at least for today. Considering this is CES we are sure there will be others touting their new devices under the same label of being the thinnest.
One of the more anticipated games for Tegra Android devices has been a title we previewed was back near the beginning of 2011 called SoulCraft THD by Mobilebits. Featuring some pretty awesome eye candy, SoulCraft THD is an Action-RPG game for Tegra 2 and Tegra 3 devices.
Mojang has released some news regarding the next update that will be making it’s way to Minecraft: Pocket Edition soon. Slated for release (tentatively) on February 8th, 2012, this update will bring changes to the back-end to prepare it for Survival Mode, something everyone has been waiting for.
One of the most in-depth action/adventure games for Tegra 2 Android devices as well as the Xperia Play is Galaxy on Fire 2 from Fishlabs. Unfortunately for anyone who doesn’t own a Tegra 2 device or an Xperia Play, you haven’t been able to play this game (unless Chainfired of course). That, however, is about to change.
One would think that of all the companies to not make an app for Android that Microsoft would be one of them. However, we have to keep in mind that Microsoft has plenty of reasons to support Android considering they leech money off some manufacturers for every Android unit they sell. Keeping that in mind it looks like there may possibly be an Xbox Live companion app in the works.
One game we have been waiting to play for quite some time after getting a few instances of hands-on demoing is Desert Winds by Southern Interactive. For those of you who missed any of our previous coverage of this game, essentially it is a Tomb Raider style of game for Snapdragon Android devices.
A couple of days ago we reported on Qualcomm and their upcoming GameCommand app for Snapdragon Android devices. This app is essentially a showcase application similar to nVidia’s Tegra Zone only instead of being for Tegra devices it is for Android devices packing the Snapdragon chip.
A few days ago we talked about the rather awesome sounding Rift’s Mobile app that had launched on iOS and was being hinted at by Trion Worlds as coming to Android as well. Now it has been confirmed that, indeed, it will be coming to Android later this month in beta form.
