Glu Mobile just announced that they will be putting most of their games on sale for $0.99 for the entire Memorial Day Weekend. This is obviously not a huge post but it’s one definitely worth taking note of especially if you have been planning to purchase one of their games but haven’t just yet, this weekend would be the perfect time.

Word has just got out that pretty much every single Tetris close has been yanked off the Android market following a C&D order sent to Google from The Tetris Company LLC. 35 separate titles have been named in the DMCA notice that requests Google to pull them from the Android market which they now have been. We’ve managed to dig up copy of the DMCA notice.
Gameloft’s DRM policy was brought up yesterday after Dave Loft sent tips out to a few sites. I found out about it right away but decided to not post anything about it until thinking it through for a bit. Gameloft’s DRM policy is terrible. It is every developers right as to whether or not they use the Android market for sales but policies like this do no good.

So far we have seen the Samsung Galaxy S continue to grow in regards to the gaming area of Android due to it’s processor, storage capacity and Super AMOLED screen. In the world of physics, Newton is law…alright that was a terrible attempt at a pun but Newton by Badlogic Games is an excellent and unique physics game that features some rather awesome 3D retro style graphics and smooth animation. The basis of the game it to shoot your particle gun and hit your target but all is not as easy as it sounds.
Coming right on the heels of the Google I/O conference ending is the 30th Anniversary of Pac-man and to celebrate it Google, in their usual fashion, changed the graphic on their search page to show the game with the word Google built into the stage. If you haven’t heard or seen this yet, go check it out since you can actually play the game as well.
