Back in mid-December we reported on the dual-screen Android tablet that NEC was coming out with and you may or may not remember us mentioning that they were also planning to open up their own app store called Andronavi. Another new indie game developer has joined the ranks of developers for Android. Going by the name Red Sky Forge, their flagship game was release yesterday called Discretion which is a new 3D RPG to play on your Android device. It is sporting some interesting retro-3D style graphics and open world gameplay.
You may not have heard of MocoSpace but they have been around since before Zynga making HTML 5 social games that are cross-platform compatible. They don’t even release their mobile games onto any mobile marketplaces but due to their success, specifically with Stage Hero, MocoSpace plans to double their releases.
Tiger King has developed 6 other emulators for Android, mostly geared around Gameboy devices and general Nintendo devices. His newest emulator, Tiger Lab, is in very early beta development but he has decided to release it as more of a Proof-of-Concept. Tiger Labs is a Nintendo DS emulator.
Not a lot of people have heard of ASRock or Pegatron, unless you are deep into the PC gaming scene, so hearing about two Android tablets coming from a motherboard manufacturer might not just tickle your fancy all that much. However, Pegatron is an OEM division of Asus and ASRock motherboards have been sponsored by Fatal1ty.
While we know Rovio have been hard at work with the upcoming Angry Birds Seasons update for Valentine’s Day which will be out either just before or on Feb. 14, 2011 as well as a new version of the game themed around the upcoming Rio movie, we now may have pictures of what could be Angry Birds 2.

Unity3D has been focusing a lot on being completely cross-platform compatible and as of late, a lot more mobile focused especially with their upcoming 3.2 update and having been Android compatible from the beginning. This little display is a prime example if what we could see popping up in cafes in the future at the rate things are going.
Zaxis games have been developing titles for iOS for awhile and it appears they are getting ready to make the jump to Android as well starting with their game called Angry Viking as their first release. This is a 3D top-down hack-n-slash type of game where your goal is to kill villagers as they try to stop you.

Windows Mobile users have been enjoying smooth PS1 emulation for a while now, while Android users are stuck with PSX4DROID(v2) which is notoriously buggy, and whose developer charges for updates. Developer Schtruck has promised Android support for his rock-solid emulator in “a few days.”
