Anytime I hear the name Ubisoft mentioned, I always focus my attention on the story. The game developer has a long successful history in creating dynamic console games, as well as mobile games. A few weeks ago, word of a new Assassin’s Creed game (Assassin’s Creed: Identity) in development for Android/iOS, seemingly appeared out of nowhere. This week, it has been announced, that a new game from the Ubisoft Shanghai Studio will arrive next week. The game is called The Bot Squad: Puzzle Battles. It will arrive in the Play Store October 16th.
The newest Skylanders game, Skylanders: Trap Team is out now, with a version available for select Android devices. It is touted as being the full console experience on tablets, and has its own controller and base that go with it for the same price as the console release, $74.99.
PocketMine-MP is pretty much the go to software if you want to run your own Minecraft: Pocket Edition server but don’t want the limited population that the Mojang official servers offer for a fee. With this software, you are technically only limited to the hardware your server is running.

Two Star Wars games, Tiny Death Star and Star Wars Assault Team, have been removed from the Google Play Store, in a move to shift focus to “higher priority” games. This is referring to the recent Star Wars mobile release, Star Wars Commander.

PlayStation Mobile, Inc. has been quite busy lately. We recently heard that Run Sackboy! Run!, will arrive sometime this month for Android and iOS devices. In the meantime, you can check out the latest offering from PlayStation Mobile, Inc. called Entwined Challenge. It is a tunnel-type runner, with a compelling story shared between two characters. It is visually mesmerizing, aurally pleasing, and has controls that are easy to operate.
