This time the new game, which we talked about not too long ago, will be themed around the upcoming Oz movie slated to hit theaters on March 8th, 2013. Back near the end of February we talked about a new rhythm-based game that the folks over at Crescent Moon Games were getting ready to publish called Zen Training. As you probably already know about Crescent Moon Games, they don’t publish anything unless it is a good quality game which usually is also pretty unique. Zen Training falls right into that category as it is a bit of a different type of rhythm-based game.
If you’re a fan of gamebook series such as Fighting Fantasy (the actual physical books) or Tin Man Games’ Gamebook Advenutre series, then the news we reported on not too long ago about a bunch of the first Fighting Fantasy books being brought over to Android was very good news to read. With a couple of them released already, Tin Man Games and Fighting Fantasy are back with another release, this time taking the form of Temple of the Spider God.
By now most people have heard about 3D printing in one way or another, even if it is just in passing. Well Infinite Dreams has teamed up with Sculpteo, the French online 3D printing service, to offer players of Let’s Create! Pottery the ability to turn their created pottery from just a digital piece of art into the real thing. This is all done by using Sculpteo’s 3D printing service.
We talked about 11 Bit Studios announcing their Anomaly 2 game last week which will hopefully be arriving for Android at some point. The main feature we were really interested in with Anomaly 2 was the addition of multiplayer, where one player controls the offensive units while the other player would be in charge of the defensive towers. Well it looks like Android gamers can get a head start on learning strategies for this type of multiplayer gaming with a new title from IEDS called City Conquest.
Back in December of last year Crescent Moon Games released their newest full-sized 3D RPG onto iOS called Ravensword: Shadowlands. Back then we reported about this game’s launch because it was also almost immediately confirmed that Ravensword: Shadowlands would also be arriving onto Android devices in the near future.
A new 3D adventure game has made its way onto Google Play called Era’s Adventure. Developed by AnDev, this game does not feature the little green dinosaur for Mario called Yoshi. No seriously that isn’t Yoshi, it’s a green dinosaur named Era who could easily pass as Yoshi’s identical twin. It is either that or Yoshi got an identity change at some point.
Atomicom has been around on Android for awhile now having released a fair amount of rather successful games onto Google Play already. One of those games happens to be a rather fun racing game called Switch where players raced down a futuristic track as far and as fast as they can while switching lanes in order to avoid obstacles and beat their opponents.
Two days ago we talked about a cool dungeon crawler that had arrived on Google Play from Thecle. We also teamed up with him to give away 20 premium copies of the game, with premium copies being no ads and some other perks. Well the winners have been selected and here they are.
Madfinger Games are some busy little bee these days and back during CES 2013 we had some hands-on time with an early build of Dead Trigger 2 on Project Shield. The game back then looked gorgeous so now it probably looks even better. At Mobile World Congress 2013, Madfinger Games let out some additional details about their upcoming sequel to Dead Trigger.
