Back in the beginning of December 2014 we reported on an official Son of Anarchy mobile game that would be heading our way in the earlier part of 2015. This game, which is officially titled Son of Anarchy: The Prospect, will be a team effort from developers Silverback Games and Orpheus, both of which are located in Canada, as well as Kurt Sutter and the rest of the team behind the TV show.

The physics-based puzzle game Polarity has gotten a sequel released on the Ouya console called Polaroty: Partners in Crime. As the title suggests, this new sequel has a multiplayer theme to it, offering up both co-op and competitive split screen multiplay for gamers to partake in.
Origin8’s newest Sentinel game called Sentinel 4: Dark Star has been updated with some new goodies that you will want to know about if you play this game. Essentially, in a nutshell, there are new weapons and turrets available in the game as well as a whole new Commander unit.
Jujubee Games, developer of the Flashout series of futuristic racing games and the Suspect franchise, has announced a new game that will be heading our way soon called Spellcrafter: The Path of Magic and has nothing to do with racing, something that up until now has been Jujubee’s main theme for their games. Instead Spellcrafter is a tactical turn-based RPG title.
One thing CES is usually good for is getting a sneak peek or two and unreleased games that will soon be coming to Android. At Qualcomm’s booth they had plenty of games being shown on their development tablets to showcase their new Snapdragon 810 and Adreno 430 chipset team. However all of them were games already released except for one that happened to show its demo reel right before we left. The game we are talking about is Gates of Osiris by Fenix Fire.
The rather fun and humor-filled game Crossy Roads has made the journey from Amazon’s Appstore over to Google Play today. Originally released on December 15th, 2014 as a short-term exclusive on Amazon, Crossy Roads is now available on Google Play for those of you who don’t like or can’t use Amazon’s Appstore or own a Kindle device.
While the OBox from Snail Games was high up on our list of things to get some hands-on time with as soon as possible, the company’s two new Android phones were also something we wanted to check out. Snail Games unveiled two gaming-centric Android phones at CES 2015 and while both come with physical controls, the W 3D also features glasses-free 3D.
One of the more interesting announcements so far, at least in the realm of Android-based gaming, has to be Snail Games’ set of gaming-centric Android phones and their Android-based game console. Snail Games had plenty of both phones, The W and The W 3D, available for some hands-on time as well as the OBox console. We will get into the phones in another article though.
If there is one thing you can count on for with Gameloft, it is the fact that they will always be one of the first developers to optimize their games for any new upcoming gaming hardware or platforms based off of Android that look promising. Whether it was the Ouya console or the GameStick, they usually have a few games announced as ready to go for that particular platform’s release.
Qualcomm went into detail regarding their newly announced Snapdragon 810 chip which comes paired with the Adreno 430 GPU during their press event today at CES 2015. The company was quick to throw a demo out there showing Unreal Engine 4 running on the Snapdragon 810 chip and how nice it looked.
