Vector Unit’s newest racing game Beach Buggy Blitz has gotten an update that, like a lot of updates happening these days, brings with it some Halloween goodies for you to enjoy. Aside from all the Halloween stuff though, Beach Buggy Blitz is now compatible with most modern Android devices including Samsung Galaxy S3 and S2, HTC One series and more.
While there are plenty of tower defense and siege games out there on the Google Play store, very few have you playing as the offensive party and not the defensive one. However, that is exactly what happens in a new game by Flare Games called Royal Revolt. Wrapped up in some solid 3D graphics, you will be in charge of trying to take back your father’s castles that has been stolen from you.
The closer we get to Halloween, the more games will be updating their content with Halloween themed stuff. This holds true for Madfinger Games who have begin teasing an Halloween themed update that should be arriving soon for their zombie filled FPS game Dead Trigger. So what will be coming in this new update?
While Spacetime Studios annual Halloween goodies have arrived today, part of it actually was released last week in the form of a content expansion for Pocket Legends with the new questing area Blacksmoke Mountain and new level cap of 76. However, Star Legends and Dark Legends are not to be left out either and starting today there will be plenty of Halloween goodies to take part in and collect.
Back in September we reported on two games that would be coming from Crytek to Android. One was Skylanders Cloud Patrol which was released in conjunction with Activision. The second game was called Fibble – Flick n’ Roll which happens to have been published by Crytek themselves quietly onto the Amazon AppStore back in mid-September quietly.
Last week we reported on the rather awesome defense game Dungeon Defenders from Trendy Entertainment had disappeared from the Google Play store. While we decided to take some guesses as to why it had gone poof, in the comments of that article some people were able to access Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave through a direct link instead of through a Google Play search. This led us to believe that perhaps the error was based on something going wrong with Google Play’s search.
Gameloft and MLG have recently teamed up to hold competitions for cash prizes in two games, N.O.V.A. 3 and Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation. Up until now, these competitions were restricted to only a few countries but now, as of today, these ongoing competitions have now been opened up to everyone in the world.
2K Games surpised us a couple of week ago when they decided to quietly release NBA 2K13 onto Android. Now they have gone a step further and have quietly released a companion application for NBA 2K13 called MyNBA2K. This companion app isn’t really for the Android version of the game but instead extends your NBA 2K13 experience on Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii U. In fact it can connect back to the game regardless of what console you’re playing it on.
