Minority Media today has announced that their upcoming Virtual Reality game called Time Machine will finally be launching this month for both major VR headsets, the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The narrative for this game was written by the Assassin’s Creed III and IV writer Jill Murray.
Square Enix and Disney’s release of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ onto mobile has apparently done quite well for itself since its recent launch, amassing over 2 million downloads in North America alone. This number may not seem like a lot in the grand scheme of things until you realize that this was done in under a month’s time. Like any milestone breaking, Square Enix and Disney are going to host an in-game event for a limited time.
Rockstar Games, the outfit behind Grand Theft Auto, among other popular franchises, has a good amount of those games released onto Android. They have put most of them on sale, namely the Grand Theft Auto series, as well as the Android version of Max Payne. Tormentum is a point-and-click adventure that recently got released onto Android. I think that the game’s selling point is the is the setting and atmosphere, as well as the puzzles and choices as it really delivers on dark and creepy. There’s other areas where it comes up short though, but those issues are nothing that destroy the experience, nor are they anything that can’t be fixed.
Back in February 2016 Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Identity would be landing on mobile devices in the Spring. The company then released the game onto iOS the same month, but Android users were unfortunately told that they need to wait for a bit. Well that wait looks to be ending finally thanks to a post on Ubisoft’s Facebook announcing the Android version’s release this month.

After a short soft launch, BUKA Development has released an updated version of the classic Russian adventure game Red Comrades: Save The Galaxy onto Android devices. For those of you not familiar with this game, Red Comrades: Save The Galaxy was originally released for PC back in 1998 and was a pretty big hit in Russia, while the rest of the world also saw the game doing fairly well for itself.
It’s time for another end of the week round-up of Android games that are on sale over on Google Play. This week’s round-up has a lot of developers putting their catalog of game’s on sale, such as most of Radiantgames’ titles, 3 Minute Games with their Lifeline franchise, Playdigious with a few of their games, and more.
