While tomorrow is our regularly scheduled Android game sale round-up, there are a few good games currently on sale right now that may not be tomorrow. So to make sure everyone gets a chance to take advantage of these discounted, here is a short list of games currently on sale right now that you may want to grab a copy of.
We have seen some pretty odd mash-ups and cross-overs when it comes to mobile games, usually pertaining to games like Puzzle & Dragons or similar Puzzle-RPG titles. However recently we did get a Star Wars / Contra mash-up which brought us the original Contra game but featuring Star Wars enemies and the main character you play as was Chewbacca. Today Bandai Namco has brought us another unique mash-up, this time featuring Galaga and Tekken.
Originally slated for release on Zen Studios’ pinball platform called Zen Pinball, their Star Wars: Rebels pinball table will finally be arriving this week on all platforms that Zen Pinball is available on, including the Android version. In light of this upcoming release, which will be the 11th table Star Wars themed table, Zen Studios has released a new video showing off some of the gameplay that will be coming with this new pinball table.
Toffee Games has announced that they will be releasing Earn To Die 2 onto Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore at the beginning of next month. This sequel leaves the desert setting, where the original game took place, and instead takes place within different cities that are overrun with zombies.
Released by Microids Games for All, Garden Shop – Rush Hour is a new time management game now available on Android. The game is set within a floral shop, with players attempting to meet the needs of the various clients that enter the establishment, and work as quickly as possible to fulfill their order.
If you’ve ever played the classic version of Asteroids, you’re already wise to most of what Spin Commander’s gameplay is like. Players control an arrow in the middle of the screen, similar to an encircled triangle, and need to dispatch the various objects that will cause it harm.
Floorless Fortress is a new arcade puzzler that features a little tiny mouse-like character that is trying to escape a rather large fortress, seeing at there are over 70 stages he needs to get through safely if he plans to actually get out of there.
DittoBeat is a new rhythm-based game that is now available on Google Play. Unlike a lot of rhythm-based games that have constantly changing content that you need to perform an action to the beat that is going on, this new game has you basically playing a Simon-style game, but doing it to the beat of the music. This does add a new level of difficulty to the whole Simon type of gameplay.
For fans of top down, tactical, squad based shooters, there will be another entry to Android’s growing list. Currently dubbed “Project CQB” (per the dev’s website, that’s only a place holding title), this game is where players control a squad of three units, and will face off against a squad of the same size, with each side attempting to killing off the others.
Goya Studio, which is an indie game studio based in Ho Chi Minh, VietNam, has recently released their game, Omega: The First Movement on iOS a few weeks ago. Having recently talked with the studio, it appears Omega: The First Movement should be arriving soon in the Google Play Store. If you are looking for a rhythm-based game with unique art and story line, then look no further, Omega: The First Movement should be just what you are looking for.
