Last week Humble Bundle released a new mobile bundle themed around the title Eye Candy. What this means is that all the games have a rather unique art style to them, instead of the usual definition of eye candy which usually refers to high-end 3D visuals. Originally this bundle started with six games, but today there are two more games added to it.

Rovio has pushed out a duo of Halloween-themed updates to two of their games, Angry Birds Pop! and Angry Birds 2. Like any good Halloween type of update, both of these are filled with zombies. Of course these are zombie pigs, all of which you will have to deal with in all the new Halloween-themed levels that have been added to each game.

A new indie game will be heading to Android soon that will put players into the role of a fugitive snowman. The game is called Frosty the Assassin, and the goal is to stay alive for as long as you possibly can. While Frosty the Snowman takes on a bit more of a sinister role in this game, he also looks rather creepy as well.
After recalling a list of their games earlier this week, EA is now listing some of their current games at the low price of a dime. They’ve marked down the cost on about a dozen of them, with most of them falling under the Chillingo name. There are some noteworthy games on this list as well, including Monopoly, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and the formerly-to-be-removed Dead Space.
NetMarble has finally globally released their newest game onto Android called QuickBoy. This particular game is a fast-paced platformer featuring lots and lots of undead creatures, mainly zombies. Unfortunately, due to the zombie apocalypse that has happened, most of humanity won’t step outside. This is where QuickBoy comes in.
Alter the Earth’s orbit on your Android Wear Device, to avoid celestial collisions in Wear Orbit
Released by Teensy Studios, Wear Orbits is a new game for Android Wear. The idea, as well as the gameplay, are simple. Players are in control of an earth-like planet that is orbiting its star. As this celestial body is revolving happily, it will come across other planets, meteors, et al, that will need avoiding to prevent an astronomical collision.
Now available on Nvidia Shield devices, Pix the Cat is a mash-up between two old school classics, Snake and Pac-Man. Each single screen level contains a number of eggs and a corresponding number of target spaces. Each time Pix grabs an egg, it turns into a duckling that then proceeds to follow Pix around the level. Collect more eggs and your tail of ducklings gets longer and longer… so long, in fact, that eventually you have to be wary of hitting your own ducks and receiving a penalty.
Three weeks ago we reported on a new Bridge Constructor game heading to mobile devices soon called Bridge Constructor Stunts. While iOS users received a version of this game two weeks ago, Android users did not. However, that has all changed today as this game is now available on Google Play.
Digital Faces is an indie developer that has released their first mobile game onto Android called Dream Dodger. This is an endless runner style of game that has been in development for the last two and a half years. In fact the story behind Dream Dodger is actually pretty interesting, but that will be for another article. To give you a hint though, the challenge was to code a Triple-A style of endless runner with having very little in the way of coding experience. Like we said, it’s an interesting story.
With all the stealth skill of Sam Fisher hanging from the rafters in a shroud of darkness, Electronic Arts snuck into your favorite app store and permanently removed several titles from their online catalog with little ruckus, fanfare or announcement. As of September 1st, Electronic Arts has taken down a rather lengthy list of titles.
