Vector Unit’s newest addition to their catalog of awesome games happens to be the very recently released sequel to Riptide GP. While the game was just released onto Android and iOS, no official version has made its way over to Ouya. Of course that doesn’t mean you can’t side-load the game onto your Android-powered console after buying it off of Google Play and that is exactly what one Ouya owner did.

In more hardware new, PlayJam has issued a statement confirming that the delays they have been experiencing recently which has postponed the shipping of their portable Android-powered game console called the GameStick isn’t a factor anymore. The company says that it will absolutely make the new August deadline for getting units out to those of you who have purchased one already.
Another week and more Ouya game releases have arrived for those of you who happen to own one of the Android-powered consoles. In today’s Ouya Game Watch we have two new games from Radiangames that just arrived for Ouya, a cool time traveling puzzle game and a skill-based platformer.
While some of you are already enjoying your shiny new Android-powered Ouya game consoles, and others happen to still be waiting for theirs to arrive, Mod Junkiez have gotten their hands on their own Ouya unit but it isn’t just for playing on. The company will also be developing new custom styles for the Ouya controllers, just as they do with other consoles like the Xbox 360 and PS3.
If you were concerned that there are not enough Android-powered game consoles getting released over the next couple of months then you’ll be pleased to know that BlueStacks has announced a second Android-powered console called the GamePop Mini. While the original GamePop is still accepting pre-orders, the company has decided to announce this new model.
While we already have a decent amount of Android-powered game consoles heading out way shortly and more in the near future, it appears that Google may very well be getting into the home console game as well with a new model of the Nexus Q. While this will be similar to the original Nexus Q from last year, this particular new model will have more of a ‘gaming focus’ to it.
Quick piece of news for those of you who are trying to purchase the Android-powered game console Ouya but haven’t had any luck as of yet due to the fact it has been selling out pretty much everyone. Only hours after going on sale publicly through retail outlets, many were reporting that they were sold out with Amazon being the first. Well there is some good news for you today.
In an ominous tweet from the fine folks over at Butterscotch Shenanigans, the company tweeted a quick Vine video of a game that will be making its way to PlayJam’s GameStick portable Android gaming console. What game would this be? Well it is their newest and currently incredibly popular release Quadropus Rampage.
With Ouya going on sale on public retail outlets, and selling it rather quickly, there are plenty of games getting added to the line-up of available titles at launch. In fact there are plenty of them to choose from but a few of the newest additions to the line-up are some that you’ll probably want to check out right off the jump. While we have talked about plenty of games in the past that will be available at launch today, here are three more notable ones.
Today, with no more delays happening, is the day that Ouya has officially gone on sale to the public through retail channels in the U.S., Canada and the UK. The Android-powered gaming console has received additional funding over the past couple of months and a delay that stopped its June launch, pushing it to July, so the company could meet the demand for the unit.
