Herocraft has announced that they will be publishing a new TCG soon that will be based off of the Warhammer 40K franchise. This new TCG will be arriving for both iOS and Android gamers who are fans of the Warhammer 40K franchise although the title’s release isn’t for a bit.

You may remember us talking about the Android version of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and its development being put on hold due to contractual conflicts that had arisen. The iOS version was also pulled from the App Store for the same reason. It seems as though an agreement has been reached, something we weren’t sure was actually going to happen, and the iOS version is back on the App Store which could indicate that the Android version is also back in development.
Ouya has been working hard on getting exclusive content for their Android-powered game console with programs such as starting up the $1 million fund for developers who get successfully funded on Kickstarter for their Ouya game. The company also courts a lot of developers as well and invests in them in order to bring their games to Ouya as either a temporary or permanent exclusive.
Blue Button Games will soon be bringing their physics-based puzzle game Polarity over to Android. Currently this game is on Steam Greenlight as it attempts to get enough votes to be officially launched on Steam. Polarity also happens to fully support the Oculus Rift as well which would actually make playing this game pretty entertaining to say the least.
If you follow the news about upcoming or rumored Android devices then you are probably already aware that Nvidia is rumored to be making their own Android tablets. The tablets, which are apparently named Tegra Tab, are also rumored to have both a 7″ version as well as a 10″ size. Well it seems as though one of the rumored tablets isn’t that much of a rumor anymore as it appears to have been benchmarked.
For those of you eager to get your hands on the next installment in Gameloft’s Asphalt racing series, it turns out that the game has been delayed. According to one of the Gameloft Community Managers, the August 8th release date given during Google’s Nexus 7 press event was not an official release date.
Choose Your Own Adventure will officially be coming to Android, should they find success on Kickstarter and meet the stretch goal for it, and they are going to be bringing with them their own unique style of Adventure/RPG books. This franchise, which is owned by Chooseco, is similar in style to Fighting Fantasy books and Tin Man Games with their Gamebook Adventures. In fact Choose Your Own Adventure has been around for almost as long as Fighting Fantasy has with regards to their physical books.
Having already been out on iOS for a short period, Square Enix will finally be bringing Deus Ex: The Fall to Android next month. According to a blog post over on the official Deus Ex website, the developers announce support for the iPad 2 before going over a bunch of details regarding that. After all the information there is a quick note at the bottom of the post announcing that the Android version is also on its way finally.
The Archos GamePad has only been available in the US for a few months now, having hit store shelves back in March, but apparently the company is already working on a follow-up to their gaming themed Android tablet. At least that is what it looks like according to a new filing at the FCC.
A couple of days ago news broke that Amazon was possibly getting into the Android-powered console with a unit of their own that is apparently in development right now and could see its release by the end of this year. While this news is filed under the ‘Rumors’ category of news, it does make sense that Amazon would do this considering they tend to mimic whatever the current hot trend is with Android.
