Back in the Summer of last year we reported on tinyBuild and their upcoming game Punch Club that would be heading to Android in the Fall of 2015. Obviously the game’s release is running a bit late but the good news is that the wait is finally coming to an end. Today tinyBuild has announced an official release date for Android and it will be arriving later this month.

A new Kickstarter campaign has begun for Fabulous Beasts, where physical building meets Android gaming
To be released by Sensible Object, Fabulous Beasts is a new cross-platform game that’s undergoing a Kickstarter campaign. The game is designed to be played both in physical life on your tabletop, in conjunction with a game on tablets and smartphones. The inspiration for this game came from Sensible Object’s founder Alex Fleetwood while he was out camping and stacking firewood.
Since the recent release of FNAF World by Scott Games onto Steam, people have liked the game conceptually. In terms of execution, however, there have been several complaints and criticism coming from the game’s player base. Even Scott Cawthon said he released it a little too early and as of today he has decided to finally pull the game off the market.
Back in May of last year we did a review on an Action-RPG called Ire: Blood Memory which was, for the most part, a pretty positive review. Well apparently even with a lot of positive reviews and a pretty solid fan-base, the game itself seemed to struggle a bit. So the developers (Tenbirds) have decided to develop a rather large update that will essentially overhaul a large portion of the game.
Nintendo this year is planning to finally start revealing details about their next system called the NX. Recently this system was in the news the other day because of the apparent rumor that it will come with the ability to work with mobile devices, PCs, and possibly other consoles. Today news is coming out that takes things a step further, making it all the more interesting, with the fact that the NX may actually be two devices.
Fans of the card game that was a Kickstarter phenom (getting $8 million+ in funding), there is good news: Exploding Kittens is coming soon to Android. The gameplay for the original card game is simple, in that players may play any number of cards they desire from their hand. At the end of their turn, they must draw a card, and then the next player does the same. Play continues until someone draws a card of an exploding kitty, at which point the player in question loses.
One of the mechanics usually required to play any type of platformer is the ability to jump. Meet Super Undercover Slime Agent, an upcoming platformer with plenty of humor and one really interesting twist to it, there’s no jumping involved. The good news… sort of… is that you can bounce a bit, which means you’ll need to master the skill of bouncing off things to clear gaps and the like.
Back in May of last year we reported on a Kickstarter campaign for a platform, called Bloxels, where code-illiterate individuals can make games using a drag n’ drop system with a board game looking set of tools. This system basically allows you to set up each stage using a square area (game board) where you place different colored cubes into the spaces provided.
When we report on soft launches or limited location launches, one place it never includes is the USA. RustyHearts Heroes is a mobile spin-off version of the MMRPG called Rusty Heroes, published here in North America by Perfect World. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because they also publish a few other well-known games including another one getting a mobile version called Torchlight Mobile.
