Double Dragon is a classic arcade and go!e console game from the late 1980s, and into the 1990s. It was a great game and franchise in its time, popularizing the venerated Beat ‘Em Up genre. The success of franchise spawned several releases over different platforms. The original arcade game, and its first two arcade sequels was ported over to Android, and released by DotEmu, as a single collection. As such, this review will cover this trilogy.

Back in October of this year DotEmu announced that they would be bringing the Double Dragon Trilogy to mobile platforms by the end of this year. Well word on the street is that tomorrow is the day when we’ll finally be able to get our hands on all three retro arcade games: Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone.
DotEmu has announced today that the company will be bringing the entire Double Dragon trilogy to Android by the end of this year. This means that we will soon be able to play Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone on our Android devices when DotEmu launches all of them.
You may remember back in the earlier part of this month we talked about G-Gee bringing Double Dragon over to Android for all of us retro gaming freaks. Shortly after it arrived onto the Google Play Store it ended up getting taken down with little word as to why or if it would be back.
