If you have been following the site for any decent amount of time then you know we not only like to giveaway stuff as much as possible but we try to do some unique in-game giveaways as well. Yesterday we held a giveaway for three people to win a $10 Google Play gift card. Only two of those three winners claimed their prizes which means we have one of those $10 Google Play gift cards remaining. While we send the other two winners from yesterday their prizes, here is another giveaway for even more Google Play credit.
So as we continue to roll out all the new stuff here at DroidGamers we will be doing plenty of giveaways to celebrate all that is new. To start things off we are giving away plenty of Google Play gift cards ranging across all denominations at different times over the next few weeks. We also have other goodies as well which we will get into when the time is right.
So if you are a regular reader of DroidGamers then you’ve probably noticed that the entire site looks a lot different. This is the newest iteration of DroidGamers, what we are calling a 4.0 beta. Why a beta? Because we still have a few more things to do and tweak. However the majority of the new site is done.
So what did you get for Christmas this year? A new Android device or something equally as awesome?
‘Tis the day after Christmas and all threw the house, everyone was stirring about including the mouse. New Android devices being set-up and fill with new games, did you get a new devices or are you still sporting the same? Okay so maybe my rhyming isn’t the best but it is the day after Christmas and there should be plenty of new Android users out there as well as existing users with new Android devices.
We have been talking about getting our own official Minecraft: Pocket Edition servers online for our readers to play on. Well now that Mojang has added support for people to easily log into external servers within Minecraft: Pocket Edition, it is about that time for our first server to go live.
So as many of you may have noticed over the last five or so days, there hasn’t been much activity here on DroidGamers aside from the community keeping things going over on our forums. Some of you may be wondering where we had run off to, if we had tripped and fallen off the face of the planet or some other similar accidental event had happened.
Over the last few days I’ve been really busy. As soon as I thought I was going to get some time to enjoy a game, what ended up happening is something else turned up that required my attention. There was just no way for me to actually take a decent amount of time to play a game. And here is where Pixel Dungeon came to the rescue.
Just a quick PSA for all of our readers out there in Android gaming land who happen to use our application, we’ve just pushed out an update that is now available on Google Play. This update brings a few new features to our app as well as fixes a couple of bugs that have crept up over the past couple of days.
