Jim Vessella, Simon Armstrong and Kyle Van Meurs created SuperMoon Games. Based in San Francisco, CA, they created their game studio earlier this year, “…with the goal of creating delicious, bite-sized games that could be enjoyed by both veteran gamers and an eager generation of new players.” These gentlemen were so passionate about gaming, that they chose to leave corporate America to do their own thing. That means, this first game is completely self-funded. It is their hope that it will be successful enough for them to continue making games. Galaxy Dash: Race to Outer Run is a roller coaster of an endless runner that is bold, beautiful and exciting to play. If their goal was to create delicious, bite-sized games, then this one is a big snack that won’t leave you hungry.

The summer is almost over and there are a couple of blockbuster films that people have been eagerly anticipating. The Maze Runner, based on the novel by James Dashner is one such movie. It opens in theaters today, and a movie tie-in game from the collaboration of Sticky Studios, Fox Digital Entertainment and PikPok have made that possible. The Maze Runner is available now to download in the Play Store.
A new endless running game has arrived onto Android called R.G.B. from Invictus Games. This isn’t your standard endless runner though as it features game mechanics similar to that of Guitar Hero. You have three rows, each with their own little character running on them. Each row can have one of three colors appear on itl and when a color comes up to one of your characters, you have to tap there on the screen to swap the correctly colored character to that row.
Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Calling all Webslingers! If you are a fan of Marvel, Peter Parker and Spider-Man, here’s the latest news. Spider-Man Unlimited is available to download now in the Play Store. Gameloft has recently released Spider-Man Unlimited and it is an endless runner and free-to-play. ALONE is an upcoming endless runner game to be released by the UK based Laser Dog Games. They’ve already posted a video of what the gameplay will look like, and the game appears to hinge on reflexes and split-second decisions working in tandem, as it seems to be played at a relatively high speed.
With glowing hues reminiscent of the movie Tron and a pulsating soundtrack, Unpossible by Acceleroto spun into the Play Store today. Acceleroto has two other titles in the Play Store, Invasion Strike and Die in a Fire. I became aware of Acceleroto a few years ago when they produced the enjoyable endless runner game Rush City for iOS. Unpossible is a mind-bending, environment swirling, aesthetically pleasing game that will challenge your skills. It fits right in line with brutally difficult games like Wave Wave, Super Hexagon and most recently Duet. If you played Impossible Road and enjoyed it, you will be right at home with Unpossible.
Last week the newest Humble Mobile Bundle was launched with six pretty decent games. As with all Humble Bundles, a week has passed and now there are three additional games that have been added to it. These three new games are Carmageddon, Time Surfer and the somewhat unusual Llamas with Hats Cruise Catastrophe.
If you enjoy endless runners with a higher dash of difficulty, then we have the game for you. The sequel to Piwot Games’ Gear Jack, published by Crescent Moon Games has recently arrived in the Play Store. Crazy Taxi the game has been around for some time. It made its debut in 1999 as an arcade game. It began appearing on consoles, starting first, on the Sega Dreamcast in 2000. After that, due to its popularity, it was ported to PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo Gamecube. The ports didn’t stop there; they kept going. Eventually the game would appear on PC and Xbox. Most recently, the game made its way to mobile devices, both IOS and Android. Sega has retooled the game completely, bringing Crazy Taxi: City Rush to a whole new generation of gamers. Those nostalgic gamers who fell in love with the original game might find the new direction a little constricting. You won’t have to wait long to try it out because it will be arriving in the Play Store very soon.
