It is nearing Halloween and as we get closer to that night of candy, cavity and pranks, we will also continue to see more and more zombie and monster games making their way to Google Play. There is a new one out called DeadGrind which was developed by BulletLike which lets you do what you do best, shooting multitudes of zombies in the face.
Gameloft and MLG have recently teamed up to hold competitions for cash prizes in two games, N.O.V.A. 3 and Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation. Up until now, these competitions were restricted to only a few countries but now, as of today, these ongoing competitions have now been opened up to everyone in the world.
Like a middle child, mobile games are constantly vying for our attention. Every week a new crop of games prop themselves on our desk and demands to be played. Well it all looks like Halloween’s coming pretty early this year. Not two weeks have passed since the scary outfits month started and there’s already some big releases headed our way. Today, a fantastic first-person shooter called Gun Zombie: Halloween, comes in the right spirit of the season and does justice to its older brother.
From the fine folks that brought you Call of Mini: Zombies, Triniti Entertainment has released two new games onto Android, one of the Google Play store called Call of Mini: Sniper, and one of the Amazon AppStore called TinyLegends – Crazy Knights. Even though TinyLegends is only available on the Amazon AppStore, it should make it to the Google Play store soon just like Call of Mini: Zombies did.
Late last night two new games arrived for Tegra based devices in the form of Razor Salvation THD, which we talked about two days ago, and Sumioni Demon Arts THD, a port of the rather popular PS Vita game. The first game, Razor Salvation THD, is available for both Tegra 2 and Tegra 3 devices while the second game, Sumioni Demon Arts THD, is available for Tegra 3 devices only.
A new first-person shooter has popped-up under the ‘upcoming games’ section on TegraZone. It’s called Razor Salvation THD by Blowfish Studios. Blowfish, if you may recall, also developed the game Siegecraft that released late last year for both Tegra and non-Tegra devices and did pretty well for itself.
Back during CES 2012 we got to take some time and do a little hands-on playing of an early build of Shadowgun Deadzone, the multiplayer version of their popular third-person shooter game for Android. It was originally slated for release onto Android shortly after CES 2012 but for whatever reason it never came to be. Well it looks like that very well may be changing due to a new post on their Facebook page which has begun teasing to multiplayer version of Shadowgun.
Yesterday we brought you news about the ‘official’ unveiling of the next installment into the Modern Combat series called Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. Thanks to a leaked trailer from the Tokyo Game Show, we know it’s coming this Fall to Android as well and got to learn a little about the storyline and see a little gameplay. Now Gameloft has released a much bigger trailer, showcasing a lot more of the gameplay as well.
You may remember a few weeks ago that Gameloft sent out a press release detailing some upcoming games, one of which happened to be Modern Combat 4, a slip from the folks at Gameloft as the press release was eventually changed to not include that title, although we have the original press release in our article. Well it seems as though Gameloft is having a hard time keeping the lid on this game as a new trailer and images have leaked out about the next Modern Combat game.
