Interesting news this morning from Nvidia as the company has issues a voluntary recall for their Shield Tablets. A voluntary recall is just as it sounds, you don’t have to send your tablet into Nvidia to get replaced, but by not doing so you take responsibility of future risks. So why the recall? Well it is apparently due to the tablet running the risk of having its battery overheating, posing a fire hazard.
Back in June 2015 Razer’s Forge TV bundle appeared on the Google Play store in the device section. The bundle came with the Forge TV unit as well as one Serval game controller as well for a singular price. However, if you needed a second controller, you would have to go elsewhere to buy it… until now. Razer now has the Serval controller on Google Play for sale on its own.
Today Razer has announced that their purchase of the Android micro-console maker Ouya is complete. [Updated] Amazon Prime Day has begun! Here are some deals for Android devices and gadgets to check out
It is July 15th, 2015 and that really didn’t mean much up until this year, unless of course that is your birthday. However this year, and possibly future years as well, July 15th is Amazon Prime Day which is Amazon’s big sale day for Prime members. This is the first year for Prime Day and Amazon is touting more deals than Black Friday and so far that is appearing to be quite true. Not only is there a lot of deals, most of them are actually pretty good.
The big day is almost upon us and even though it is the middle of the Summer, it almost really does feel like Black Friday in a lot of ways. The anticipation of possibly scoring a couple of awesome deals tomorrow, but having to wait a whole day to really check out everything, is a lot like Black Friday. However, when Amazon’s Prime Day starts tomorrow, Amazon will be pumping out more deals than we would see on the actual Black Friday.
Gameflip is a mobile marketplace that has just launched which allows gamers to buy and sell games, whether new or used, as well as collectibles and gaming accessories. Pretty much every console has their own section for buying and selling games, ranging from Xbox One and Playstation 4 to old school GameCube titles.
Amazon has announced the first official Amazon Prime Day, which will be next week on July 15th, 2015. The company is literally trying to take out Black Friday in terms of just the sheer amount of savings that will be available on that day. In other words it will literally be like Christmas in July… as the saying goes. This means that if you’re in the market for a new Shield brand device, a new Android phone or tablet, this would be the day to to it if they go on sale, which is more than likely to happen.
GPD is coming with a clam shell style Android gaming device with full hardware buttons reminiscent of the Nintendo 3DS xl console. Judging by the buttons it seems be aimed at emulators as it looks like a mash-up of a whole bunch of console controllers.
