An interesting new Steampunk themed Action-RPG title has hit up Kickstarter looking for funding. This particular game is actually a dual-stick Action-RPG so the combat plays out like an arcade shooter but the rest of the game is formatted like an RPG. There is a new tower defense game looking for funding over on Kickstarter called Tower Evolution by ArtfulBits Inc. What this development studio is trying to do is make a game that is in a genre a lot of people love, tower defense, but mesh it with a thick layer of RPG elements to form a pretty interesting sounding hybrid game. In fact there will even be heroes in this game, so it isn’t your average tower defense title.

However they will not make both.
A new Kickstarter project is aiming to make games basically never-ending by offering up a simple way for players to build and share user created content. While level editors are nothing news when it comes to gaming, there isn’t a whole lot of mobile games that come with that feature and when they do it can sometimes be not the easiest thing to do.
A Kickstarter project is now up and running for a rather interesting, and conceptually amazing, application that will allow anyone using graph paper and a pencil to literally draw their own game. From the designs on the graph paper that you have drawn, the application will read that and convert it into a game which you can then share with your friends.
Continuing on with crowdfunding news today, a new game has hit up Kickstarter for funding and the concept is actually quite a neat one. Officially called C-Wars, this game is being labeled as a roguelike RTS game that will be arriving onto a variety of platforms when its finished including Android tablets.

Another Castle by Uncade is about to finish a successful Kickstarter campaign and is a prime example of two genres being meshed together to create something really damn cool.
