The Avengers are a pretty potent band of superheroes. Seeing that the comics and movies involving the Avengers have got a pretty huge fanbase, Marvel has moved into creating an episodic mobile game as well. The first in this series of games puts you in the somewhat large shoes of The Hulk. While the thought of having an Avengers based game sounds mouth-watering (it should be epic right?), the final implementation fails on many levels. How so? Read on to find out.
Back in October we talked about a new table heading to Zen Pinball THD as part of the ongoing Marvel series of tables called Civil War. Well this table is now available for purchase and download from within Zen Pinball THD and will have players choosing whether to side Iron Man in support of the Superhuman Registration Act, or join Captain America in the fight against it.
Originally reported on back in September, one of the more highly anticipated Marvel themed games called Avengers Initiative was slated for release back then but was unfortunately delayed for whatever reason. While iOS gamers got to get their hands on it and get down and dirty with the Hulk, we have had to wait for awhile. The good news is that the wait is over and the Avengers Initiative is now available for select Android devices.
Zen Studios has gotten really into the Halloween spirit this year by releasing a trio of new tables for Zen Pinball THD, with all three tables themed after something rather suitable for tonight’s upcoming shenanigans. Available for purchase and download through Zen Pinball THD are tables themed after Blade, Ghost Rider and a more generic but equally spooky table called Paranormal.
Back at the beginning of this month we talked about a new Marvel themed TCG title that would be making its way to us this month called Marvel War of Heroes. It has been a couple of weeks since then and now the game has finally arrived onto the Google Play store for those of you who are TCG fans.
Another Marvel Universe based game is on the horizon and this time it will be coming in the form of a TCG called Marvel: War of Heroes. As of right now there isn’t a whole lot of information regarding this upcoming Marvel title but we do know a few key points about it. First, we know that this TCG will be coming integrated with DeNA’s social gaming platform (Mobage) which means this will also be a free-to-play title.
Yesterday we brought you news that Marvel’s upcoming game called Avengers Initiative would be arriving on both select Android devices and iOS today. Unfortunately, we have some bad news in that the game’s release has been delayed for Android devices.
About two weeks ago we talked about Marvel who had begun teasing an Avengers game that would be heading to iOS and Android soon. Well an announcement today has given us the official name of the game, a release date and more details about the game including a new trailer. Are you ready for The Avengers Initiative?
The Avengers movie hit theaters this Summer and was actually pretty good. Now Marvel is looking to keep the successful of that movie going by releasing a mobile game based off of the movie itself. Even though it is based off of the movie, don’t be surprised if other superheroes make appearances as well.
Another TCG (Trading Card Game) is on the way to Android in the near future thanks to a new partnership between DeNA and Marvel. The new TCG will be called Marvel: War of Heroes and will be released onto their Mobage social gaming platform when it arrives.
