Nick Earl is somewhat infamous among mobile gamers thanks to a period of controversy during his tenure as senior vice president of EA Mobile. Despite stirring the ire of a multitude of gamers after two separate contentious incidents regarding the monetization models for Real Racing 3 and Dungeon Keeper, Earl helped guide the division through a continuous string of critical and commercial successes.

If you haven’t had enough Android TV game announcements then there is some good news for you, we have more! In all seriousness, whenever there is a new Android device that aims to be quite popular, developers always rush to announce their currents games getting updated with compatibility, which is a good thing of course. Gameloft is usually one of the first companies to make these announcements each time and the Nexus Player is no exception.
Kabam has released a new game onto Google Play today and for once it isn’t some sort of MMORPG or MMORTS type of game. Instead the company has released a title called Metal Skies which is an aerial combat style of game featuring both single-player and multiplayer campaigns to play.
A new fast-paced turn-based strategy game has arrived for the Ouya console called Skulls of the Shogun. Developed by 17-Bit, this game is already available on Google Play and has now been ported over for the Ouya console as well. Players will be taking charge of General Akamoto who also happens to already be dead.
The next installment into the Reckless Racing franchise will be heading to Android later this month. The last two Reckless Racing games were developed by Pixelbite Studios and released onto Google Play by Polarbit but while Pixelbite will be making Reckless Racing 3, there is no mention of Polarbit publishing it this time. That doesn’t mean that they won’t be publishing it, but for whatever reason it seems like that might be up in the air right now.
Nexon M, otherwise known as Nexon Mobile, have released a second game this week called Legion of Heroes. We originally reported on this game coming to Android back in July of this year and since then Legion of Heroes has been under the final stages of development and testing until today. This is much different than their release yesterday of Base Busters, mainly because this game is an MMORPG.
Android gamers rejoice! Blizzard Entertainment has opened the portal to Azeroth to allow new warriors to join the fray. In a recent blog post on Battle Net, Blizzard has announced that the popular TCG, Heartstone: Heroes of Warcraft, is coming to Android tablets by the end of 2014. Android phones will be seeing Hearthstone arriving for them sometime in 2015.
[Updated] Fishlabs’ Galaxy On Fire : Alliances will finally be launching globally later this month
The next installment into the Galaxy on Fire franchise will finally be seeing the light of day globally as Fishlabs has announced that their MMO game Galaxy on Fire: Alliances will be launching worldwide later this month. This particular addition to the series isn’t like the previous Galaxy on Fire titles though.
Having already released a more modern racing game, aptly named Cargasm HD, Candella Systems LTD has decided to release another racing game but this time set in a more Roman type of theme called Chariot Wars. This game does feature both single-player and multiplayer game modes to race in.
More details released about Gamevil’s Darkness Reborn MORPG including closed beta sign-ups now being live
A couple of weeks ago we reported on a new game coming from Gamevil called Darkness Reborn along with the first teaser trailer for it. Now we get to report that the closed beta sign-ups are now live for anyone who wants to get in on the ground floor, do some beta testing and get an early hands-on with the company’s upcoming MORPG.
