The other day we mentioned that Madfinger Games would begin hosting tournaments in Dead Trigger 2 and that we would be teaming up with them, sponsoring some of the tournaments, reporting the results of the tournaments and even hosting some of them as well. The first tournament begins this weekend as in called the Mayhem Tournament.

The next installment into the Magic the Gathering franchise on mobile devices has arrived today. Magic 2015: Duel of the Planeswalkers has landed on a multitude of platforms today including Android on both Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore. It is time for players to hunt down Garruk Wildspeaker who is supposed to be the most dangerous hunter in the Magic Multiverse.
Madfinger Games has been hard at work developing this latest update for Dead Trigger 2 and it is now finally available on Google Play as of today. There is actually quite a lot of good stuff coming with this update including the beginning of an ongoing series of tournaments which we are teaming up with Madfinger Games to help host them. This includes the ability to win real prizes.
Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games are all the rage these days. It’s nice though to be able to take part in an epic fantasy quest from the comfort of your couch as opposed to sitting at your PC. Nexon M’s game will allow you to do just that later this summer. Their most recent project, Legion of Heroes is a PC quality MMORPG for your mobile devices.
The big 0.9.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition that landed recently has received a bit of a boost with a quick 0.9.1 update shortly after its release and now we have version 0.9.2 that was just pushed to Google Play and Amazon Appstore. The quick 0.9.1 update was a few bug fixes but this new 0.9.2 has a pretty big changelog of tweaks, bug fixes and more.
If you’ve read even a portion of our articles in the past month or so regarding Gameloft’s upcoming game Modern Combat 5: Blackout, then you should be pretty well educated on a majority of the content and features coming with the game when it gets released. One thing most people probably don’t know is when the game is actually going to come out. This is mainly because Gameloft hadn’t announced a release date, only that it would be coming this Summer.
In an interesting partnership between MMO giant Nexon and Capcom, both companies are working to bring Street Fighter IV Arena to Android. This will be the first exclusively mobile Street Fighter title in the franchise. In fact the game has come along quite nicely as it is already in beta testing phase over in Korea.
It’s rare to see a new spin on an overused game formula. What I’m personally used to seeing is a game suddenly rising in popularity, and then everyone releasing what is pretty much a re-skinned version of it. Gameloft’s Rival Knights is the exception I’ve been looking for. It’s a jousting game that plays very similarly to drag-racing games such as CSR Racing, but adding more than enough changes to make the game feel new and fresh.
Gameloft is holding another live stream and this time it is at E3 2014. A lot of companies are doing this now and, of course, E3 being the biggest video game conference there would be plenty of live streams. However Gameloft is streaming some Modern Combat 5: Blackout (with its price just being confirmed as $6.99 at launch) goodness with a little Rival Knights mixed into the stream and possibly some other goodies as well.
Gameloft announces Spider-Man Unlimited, releases new E3 teaser trailer for Modern Combat 5: Blackout
As E3 2014 approaches, we’ve already reported on the fact that Gameloft has about 4-5 additional titles that they will be revealing during the big video game conference. Well it seems the company didn’t want to wait when it comes to one of those games and they have released a new announcement trailer, announcing a game called Spider-Man Unlimited.
