In the style of games like Gravity Lander, Farm Tower brings physics gameplay to your Android phone but with farm animals instead of 2D retro spaceships. The object of the game is to get the farm animal(s) safely to the ground, almost. You have to keep them on one block above ground for a few seconds before you can move on to the next level.

Just after writing the previous post regarding NOVA 2 game art I happened to spot an interesting tweet that mentioned there would be no Angry Birds 2 by Rovio. While this may be a bit confusing considering what Rovio CEO, Peter Vesterbacka, said at the Virtual Goods Summit the other day, it could mean a couple things.
A few days back we brought to light a game called SheepRun that had some strikingly similar user interface designs to that of Angry Birds by Rovio. Since then we have had many people mention that the level design was almost a complete copy of another Flash game called Home Sheep Home. SheepRun Beta is now not available on the Android Market.
A few days back we posted about a game we found and tried out called SheepRun which seems to be a mix of physics and Lemmings style gameplay. Aside from the fact it was a pretty interested game (still in beta) the main thing that caught our eye was the user interface which looked ridiculously like Angry Birds’ user interface, so we shot off an email to Rovio.
Mix physics gameplay, Lemmings style gaming, and an Angry Birds-like user interface elements and what do you get? SheepRun! Developed by the curiously named FingerFantasy, SheepRun looks like it would have been developed by Rovio due to the user interface; however, similarities end there in this unique game.
Everyone who has been playing Angry Birds will be pleased with this announcement. Rovio has released the first update for Angry Birds for Android and it is a pretty nice sized update. First, the game now supports QVGA screens so anyone who owns an Android device with a QVGA screen will have proper screen support with the graphics in-game.
Well we have all been playing the beta for Angry Birds by Rovio since it landed on the Android market. While there were some slight speed bumps with the beta launch with devices not being able to see it on the Android market for one reason or another, Rovio is taking their time to ensure the full release will be bug free and compatible with almost every Android device.
We have been reporting on Angry Birds by developer Rovio ever since it was announced that it would be making it’s way over to the Android platform which was a couple of months ago. Since then we have posted updates about it and even a video showing Angry birds being played on a Droid. Well for all of you waiting for this game, your waiting is almost over.
Backflip Studios has been a major iOS developer for some time now with some extremely popular games. In fact one of them is already on the Android market called Paper Toss. This is just like Toss It! so if you’ve played one then you’ve played both although I believe they developed the game first. However due to the great response they have had, they will be porting over their other popular games!
Camel Games is one of the premiere physics-based Android developers around. Space Physics, an addictive title by Camel Games, is no exception to this rule. Expect this game to keep you entertained (and thinking!) for a long while and feed you some cool neon graphics for your eyes to enjoy while you play!
