The Revenge of Johnny Bonasera Review: A rather twisted game about bullies

I had the unique pleasure of checking out The Revenge of Johnny Bonasera game which is based on a kid who is bullied and picked on by some larger, unscrupulous neighborhood punks. These punks abuse both Johnny and his sandwich which causes Johnny to take the law into his own hands to serve a bit of justice. There is actually a map of the neighborhood in which the main character, Johnny travels.

This is a game where players are looking to solve how to complete unfinished “inventions”. Players will begin by looking at a few items that are already in place, and have several more that are off to one side.

Double Coconut updates both of their games, Roofbot and Parallyzed, with new content and more

Double Coconut is an indie mobile game development company that has released two games onto Android so far, one being Parallyzed, and the other being called Roofbot. Even though the developers have only released these two games, both of them have been featured in the Indie Game Corner, and Parallyzed was a finalist in Google’s first Google Play Indie Game Festival, while Roofbot was another selection for the same event but didn’t place in the finals.

Every year for the past few years Square Enix Montreal has held their own game development jam session dubbed Square Jam, and this year’s event has just ended. Square Jam is a week-long event where developers work on all kinds of projects related to Square Enix titles, or completely new games, and this year there were some interesting ones to come out of the session.

Compelling gameplay arrives in RETSNOM now available on Google Play

I wasn’t quite sure what to think of RETSNOM when I first saw it. It didn’t take long before it completely grabbed my time and imagination. RETSNOM is a game published by Magic Cube that is from independent game developer Somi, who lives in South Korea. He deftly balances developing games in his spare time and working a full-time job. If you have ever done that, you know it isn’t easy to do. However, what he has pulled off, is nothing short of brilliant. You need to check out this game.
