It’s Friday which means it is time for another round-up of Android games currently on sale. We are going to call this week’s round-up the week of the repeats, since there is a total five new games on sale right now. The rest of the list happens to be all repeats, not that this is a bad thing either.
The latest installment into the Anno franchise from Ubisoft was released a couple of days ago for PC called Anno 2205. Well the company has also released a mobile spin-off of Anno 2205 which is called Anno 2205: Asteroid Miner. This particular game has nothing to do with building your own futuristic city or anything like that though.
Tengami is the first game produced by Nyamyam Ltd., an independent game developer located in the UK. The company was created in 2010 by Jennifer Schneidereit and Phil Tossell. When you play Tengami for the first time, it will be a visually fascinating experience, folded into a rich narrative . The vehicle used for telling the story in Tengami, will be an exquisitely designed pop-up book.
Activision Blizzard has decided to acquire a mobile game publisher and it just so happens to be the company behind the strangely popular match-3 puzzle game Candy Crush. So how much did the company fork out to buy King? Well according to the details released about the acquisition that was announced last night, Activision paid out just under $6 Billion. For fans of Mahjong Solitaire, there is a new game out that incorporates Mahjong Solitaire into a story driven puzzler. Tabbed as Battle Mahjong of Lunatic Night, this game is solitaire with a story. The tiles have been customized for the game, so instead of seeing the tiles that one would normally see in Mahjong Solitaire, the tiles are thematic to the game. So players will be seeing and matching tiles that are marked either as monsters or helpful items.
Robot Invader has so far been responsible for many Android gamers losing a lot of their free time because of their games. Responsible for Wind-Up Knight 1 & 2, as well as Rise of the Blobs and Cybergon, the company has now released their first virtual reality game, currently available for the Gear VR headset.
