The developers behind a pair of rather addictive games, called Madfist and Madfist Retro, have decided to release free versions of each one onto Google Play. Both versions offer up the game for free with ads supporting each one.

A couple of weeks ago Square Enix announced an entirely new mobile Final Fantasy game that will be heading our way soon called Final Fantasy: Record Keeper. Since that announcement pre-registration has been available for those of you who know you are going to be getting this game when it launches. As per usual, when you pre-register for a game, you end up getting an in-game bonus/reward or two when the game actually launches.
Announced a couple of days before the start of GDC 2015, Paradox Interactive had a copy of their new sequel to Knights of Pen and Paper on hands during GDC 2015 to go hands-on with. The firs game was a lot of fun so fondling the sequel ahead of time was high on our priority list of things to do after walking up a massive hill to get to our meeting with Paradox Interactive.
Back in the Summer of last year a rather neat RPG landed onto Android called Widget RPG. The concept of this game was to make playing an RPG relatively painless during every day life by having the entire thing be playable via a widget on your Android phone or tablet. That way progressing through the game can be done by simply tapping on the widget.
Paradox Interactive have announced that they will be releasing a sequel to their very popular RPG title called the Knights of Pen & Paper. Officially titled Knights of Pen & Paper 2, this game brings the role of playing a tabletop RPG back to Android. If you are not familiar with this franchise, it is definitely one of the more interesting ones out there.
Kemco releases a lot of games onto Google Play, most of which are retro-style JRPGs. One of their more popular titles is Alphadia Genesis and today the company has released a sequel to that game, officially titles Alphadia Genesis 2. This new Alphadia game continues the story where the first game left off and doesn’t stray too far from the original game’s style as well.
OrangePixel has been working on a new game for mobile called Space Grunts and has been recording the entire process of building the game. Well most of the process. Anyways, each week OrangePixel releases a new video showcasing the work done to the game during the past week and today there is a new video to check out.
You may have heard of a company called RetroBomb, they helped bring the Expendable Rearmed to Android. Well some of the folks from RetroBomb have been working on a side-project is called Canyon Capers which was published by KISS Limited onto Google Play today. This game has actually been on Steam for a bit now, garnering 250,000+ copies being shipped on Steam so far.
After ten years in development hell the world was graced with Duke Nukem Forever. It was a misogynistic, racist, and pedantic sub-par shooter that made critics wonder what the wait was for. The criticism of Duke Nukem Forever is a fantastic reflection of how much our culture has matured over the years. Violence against women is no longer a taboo subject relegated only to feminists and those brave enough to speak out against it. We’ve come a long way baby!
Noodlecake Games has announced what their next release will be and it is a game called Buzz Killem. For those of you not familiar with this game, Buzz Killem is an arcade platformer which features retro-style graphics in a pretty face-paced game.
