Earlier this year we covered some of the Kairosoft games that we were hoping to get translated and ported to Android OS. Kairosoft has released the Japanese version of their new farming simulation loosely translated as Firmament Hectare Farm to the Play Store. The game seems like it is more of a sim management game unlike thier last release Ninja Village. It focuses more on growing and selling foods and trying to become the number one farm. During your growing of vegetables and fruits you will have to attract tourists by building facilities and for them to stay at and use. As usual there will be the contests to see which farm grows the best quality items and becoming more profitable.
While Kemco were testing the water outside of the retro-style RPG with their last release where the game was almost completely rendered with 3D graphics, except for the map screens, the company’s newest release sticks to what they are used to, a full retro-style RPG. This particular one is called Cross Heart Arcadia.
It’s about the time where the week is coming to a close and we round-up all the Android games that are currently on sale on Google Play. A lot of the games from our Mid-Week Android Games Sale Round-up are still on sale but there are a few additions to the list.
Ivanovich Games have released a new zombie-filled game onto Google Play and while we already have a plethora of zombie themed titles to play, Crazy Bill: Zombie Stars Hotel is actually something a little different than your typical zombie games. With a sort of retro flare to the game’s visuals, this game has you working your way floor by floor through a hotel, eliminating all the zombies that you can.
It’s been a little bit since SNK Playmore released a new game onto Google Play, having brought us four Metal Slug games already as well as Blazing Star. Now it is apparently time for the company to bring us a little samurai head-to-head combat action with their new release called Samurai Shodown II. Yes, it is spelled that way on purpose.
Stainless Games have decided to run a promotion similar to the one that they did when the company originally released the classic and bloody game Carmageddon onto Google Play. For those of you unfamiliar with Carmageddon, this particular game is actually quite a classic as it was originally released 16 years ago on June 30th.
Gamevil happens to be hosting a great little sale on all their classic games that they have released onto Google Play. The sale, which is called ‘Gamevil Dollar Games’, has titles such as Illusia and Zenonia on sale for a mere $0.99. The sale is for a limited time only so if you’ve been planning to pick up any classic Gamevil titles, now is a good time to do so.
Some more Ouya gaming news for those of you who have their units already or will be getting them real soon. Vlambeer’s Super Crate Box is currently available on Ouya for free for a limited time only. For those of you who like challenging platformers, you’ll want to nab this one while you can do so for free.
With Ouya going on sale on public retail outlets, and selling it rather quickly, there are plenty of games getting added to the line-up of available titles at launch. In fact there are plenty of them to choose from but a few of the newest additions to the line-up are some that you’ll probably want to check out right off the jump. While we have talked about plenty of games in the past that will be available at launch today, here are three more notable ones.
