The PlayStation franchise Fat Princess has come to Android devices in Fat Princess: Piece of Cake. A free-to-play puzzle game, Fat Princess is also available on iOS and of course the Sony PlayStation Vita. The Vita version was just released yesterday, although the Android game has been out for over a week.

Exiles: Far Colony is the latest game from Crescent Moon games, also made games that you might have played like Neon Shadow, Mines of Mars, and the Ravensword. Like Ravensword before it, Exiles is an open world Action/RPG, only its the SciFi counterpart to Ravensword’s fantasy theme. While the undertaking is ambitious and full of potential, the game falls short of what appears to be Crescent Moon’s intent.
Jujubee Games, developer of the Flashout series of futuristic racing games and the Suspect franchise, has announced a new game that will be heading our way soon called Spellcrafter: The Path of Magic and has nothing to do with racing, something that up until now has been Jujubee’s main theme for their games. Instead Spellcrafter is a tactical turn-based RPG title.

As far as gamebooks are concerned the genre has been around for a very long time, much longer than it has been on mobile, and it has a pretty big fan base. While most of them adhere to the standard format of gamebooks, that being you read through the book and flips to the corresponding page that is based on your decision when presented with a choice of what to do, these gamebooks are a bit different in terms of how their style is.
One of the more interesting announcements so far, at least in the realm of Android-based gaming, has to be Snail Games’ set of gaming-centric Android phones and their Android-based game console. Snail Games had plenty of both phones, The W and The W 3D, available for some hands-on time as well as the OBox console. We will get into the phones in another article though.
Star Wars The Force Awakens is less than a year away. However when it comes to Android games, Star Wars has been in full force, pardon the pun. 2014 saw multiple game releases along with some game removals. On the cusp of a new generation of Star Wars, we should take a look at what we have been given this year, so we can reflect, and better ourselves as Star Wars enthusiasts.
Rablo Games is currently working on an new RPG called Healer Quest which is due out in the early part of 2015. This game has been in a closed beta testing phase for the last little while and now the final touches will be put into the game as it gets close to release.
What some would argue as one of the best Star Wars games to be released, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has finally made its way to Android devices today thanks to Aspyr Media and Bioware. This is the full Action-RPG that was released for the Xbox back in 2003.
One thing that we get to do a lot of in the last month of any year is start talking about games that will be released in the upcoming one. Dicetiny is one of those games that will be arriving in the first half of 2015 and it looks pretty interesting as well as fun.
A few days ago the kid’s MMO Club Penguin was released for Android on Google Play. When I was younger I had played it a lot back when the game was new on web browsers around 2006, I’m older now but I can still see how Club Penguin has been able to maintain a fun family friendly world for children to play in.
