Barnes and Noble has struggled recently with their line of Nook tablets. While their partnership with Samsung was announced a few months ago, their new tablet has been revealed and is available for purchase now.
On Thursday, in an impressive effort to bolster consumer interest in its well received Nook line of tablet computers, Barnes & Noble Inc. has announced a partnership with Samsung Electronics Co. to release a co-branded Nook tablet. Remember the Samsung VR headset that we wrote about a week ago? Gizmodo is now reporting that the Korean tech giant has teamed up with Oculus VR in the production of their virtual reality, android powered headset.
If reports are to be believed, Samsung is working on its own Virtual Reality headset, designed to work with its future, not-yet-announced flagship phones, phablets and tablets. According to Engadget, who quotes “sources close to Samsung” the device is set to be revealed later this year and hopes to beat both Sony and Oculus to the market, with a lower price to boot.
Samsung has officially made their game controller for their phones a thing now, releasing it to market already in Europe while everywhere else in the world will be able to buy it soon. Of course that is if you don’t already own a MOGA controller, or a SteelSeries one, or a Nyko controller, or any number of ones already available and useable with pretty much any Android device.

The last time we talked about Capcom and their Resident Evil 4 it was to let everyone know that it was available on Google Play but only for folks who happen to live in Japan or those of you who happen to use Market Enabler and can read Japanese. Well there is good news for everyone else who happen to not fall into either of those two categories, Resident Evil 4 is now available in English. However, there is one catch.
It looks like Electronic Arts isn’t wasting any time supporting Samsung’s newly announced addition to the Samsung Galaxy line of phones. Last night Samsung held their event in New York where they officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S IV, as most of you probably know already, and EA is going to be ready to support the new phone right at launch with a big selection of games.
The Superbowl is only a couple of days away and already we are able to check out a lot of the commercials that will be aired during the game. For those of you not familiar with the Superbowl tradition when it comes to commercials, most companies that can afford to air a commercial during the football game spend millions of dollars to make the best, and usually the funniest, commercial for the whole year.
