During PlayJam’s press conference yesterday at GDC 2013 the company announced that it would be shipping out units with a couple of pre-installed games. These games turned out to be Madfinger’s Shadowgun and Hutch’s Smash Cops. Both games will be available for those of you who backed the GameStick Kickstarter campaign in order to pre-order a unit.

Madfinger Games’ multiplayer version of their popular third-person shooter game called Shadowgun will be dropping its beta tags and becoming an officially release in a week’s time. Announced over Twitter by the fine folks at Madfinger Games, Shadowgun: Deadzone has gotten an new trailer to celebrate the official release date for when the beta tags will be dropping.
Shadowgun: Deadzone public beta has been out for a little bit now and the updates have been coming pretty rapidly while the crew at Madfinger Games work out bugs and improve the game overall so that they can eventually drop those beta tags. Today an update was pushed out and for the most part it was a more behind-the-scenes update. However, it does fix one bug you might be experiencing which is concerning spawning of your character, or the lack thereof.
One of the games I’ve been spending a lot of time on lately is Shadowgun: DeadZone. Well, for now it is a public beta, but even then the game is very much playable with no bugs of note. The developers – Madfinger Games – are however adding in new features and optimizing performance with frequent updates.
