Nvidia just announced a rather nice deal that they have going on for those of you considering buying a 32GB Nvidia Shield. In order to sweeten the pot and make you open up your wallet to buy one, Nvidia will be throwing in a free Nvidia Shield controller, a free tablet cover for your new Shield tablet, and three games.

Sanuk Games originally released Bombing Bastard onto Steam and the Wii U not too long ago and it has done pretty decently for itself on those two platforms. Nvidia held their big press event at GDC 2015 and the company had been hinting at a big announcement, stating it was five years in the making. Everyone had their guesses as to what this would be, with a lot of people pointing to VR as being the announcement. We actually guessed it would be a console in a previous article. When the event began, the CEO of Nvidia Jen-Hsun Huang, came out and told everyone right away that he had three things to announce: a new revolutionary TV, a new super computer, and a new console. Turns out, it wasn’t three devices, it was just one.
Previously released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Pure Pool has made its way to Android devices, specifically Tegra K1 devices like the Nvidia Shield Tablet.

Nvidia Shield Tablet owners should begin seeing an OTA update message popping up on their screens as Nvidia has begun pushing out version 2.2 for their tablets. Among the features that come with this update are new GRID games, more battery life improvements, Shield HUB 4.1, and more.
Nvidia is gearing up for a big announcement at their pres event during the upcoming GDC 2015 and while no one truly knows what the company plans to unveil, besides Nvidia themselves, a lot of talk is happening about what the possible things the announcement could be. One of the more interesting ideas, and something mentioned in the comments in our previous article about the upcoming event, is a set-top box. However this idea we’ve been reading about goes further than that, making the set-top box be geared towards Nvidia’s GRID gaming on demand service.

Nvidia has sent out invites to the media for an event that they will be hosting on March 3rd, 2015 at GDC (the Game Developer’s Conference) in San Francisco. We will be covering the entire GDC event as always and this includes Nvidia’s press event. While there isn’t a whole lot to go on as to what we should expect to see during the event, Nvidia is making it sound pretty big. So let us play the guessing game!
