Well a new week is coming to a close and right now there are a few good sales going on that you might want to take advantage of and no, we are not referring to the ‘deals’ Google Play is putting on for their first birthday. Most of those deals in the gaming section aren’t really that awesome but maybe some of these sales can make up for it.

Welcome to the tenth installment of our Under The Radar column where we showcase a few noteworthy games that we were not able to publish as full articles on the site. Ultimately, with this, smaller developers get vital exposure for their games and you get to have more games to play on your plate. If you know of more quality games released recently that have not got the attention they deserve, let us know by leaving a comment!
If you’ve been following us for awhile now then you have probably seen us report on games being made by a company called Asobimo. One game we are currently waiting on for an English release, which should be coming soon actually, is Avabel Online. However, another game they have which just entered a new round of beta testing in Japan is Frontier Gunner.
Back in January of this year Glu Mobile announced that a sequel to Gun Bros would be heading our way at some point in the relatively near future. It seems as though today is that future as Gun Bros 2 has made its way quietly onto the Google Play store and this time the game comes with multiplayer right at launch instead of in a future update like with the original game.
The newest Humble Bundle for Android has arrived featuring six pretty awesome games in one package including bringing Dungeon Defenders (and all the DLC it comes with) out of retirement for the duration of the Humble Bundle. A little known fact about DroidGamers is that our 3rd birthday is also this month (next week to be exact). To celebrate both our upcoming birthday and the launch of a new Humble Bundle for Android, we are giving away 10 copies of the Humble Bundle for Android 5 (all six games) to ten lucky readers over the next few days.
A few days ago we posted about the next Humble Bundle for Android and the fact that we thought it would be arriving this month. Well it looks as though we were spot on in regards to it coming this month as the Humble Bundle for Android 5 has just launched with six games currently available for purchase with a price you set.
Nvidia has posted another video showing off another game being played on their handheld Android gaming system Project Shield. This time it is actually an upcoming Tegra 4 game called Burn Zombie Burn! by Tick Tock Games that Nvidia is showing off on Project Shield and was recently announced for Tegra 4 devices in general.
It’s been a short while since we had our last Humble Bundle for Android go live and it seems like we could be getting the next one this month. According to some posts on the Steam forums, a poster with a rather ‘reliable source’ says that it would be coming this month. However, the post was done at the beginning of February and today is the beginning of March.
The rather popular (and cool looking) 2D top-down shooter Dynamite Jack looks to be invading Android next week. Currently available for iOS devices, Dynamite Jack has players take on the role of Jack, a brave space marine, armed with only bombs and a flashlight, who must escape the Anathema Mines. Players will use stealth to sneak past guards and bombs to obliterate enemies on Jack’s journey to freedom.
Not too long ago we talked about a game called Towelfight 2: The Monocle of Destiny by Butterscotch Shenanigans, an indie studio made up of two brothers. This game brings with it all the dual-joystick animal projecting fun you can handle, meshing it with an upgrade and mapping system similar to that found in the Binding of Isaac.
