Since it originally launched on PC and Mac back in March of last year, Blizzard’s fantasy-themed digital collectible card game, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, has amassed a rather large community of players around the world that encompasses everyone from casual players to professional gamers competing in large tournaments for real cash prizes. The game is also continuing to reach new audiences now that it has hit new platforms including Android tablets like the NVIDIA Shield at first, before finally being updated to include Android phones as well.

RESCUE: Heroes in Action firefighter simulation strategy game will be landing on Android next month
RESCUE: Heroes in Action is an upcoming strategy simulation game that will be arriving next month onto mobile devices. Currently in development by Fragment Production, RESCUE: Heroes in Action is all about saving people as a firefighter before they burn to death horribly. Well maybe it isn’t that gruesome but the goal is to work with your team of firefighters to save before who happen to be in trouble.
Blizzard has only released one real expansion for Hearthstone since the game’s release, which was the Goblins vs Gnomes expansion. While adventure updates do include new cards, there is only a small amount added to the game and so they do expand what is available card-wise in Hearthstone, it isn’t like a full expansion such as Goblins vs Gnomes which added 150+ cards. It appears that Blizzard may be teasing yet another expansion for Hearthstone, this time themed with pirates and ninjas.
Claiming its inspiration from the Fallout series, Hardboiled is about surviving life after nuclear war. In Hardboiled, players will assume the role of Max, one of the survivors of a nuclear holocaust. As one might expect, the blast itself killed many people, and the ensuing radiation and disease wiped out more, after the fact.
Released by Xreal LLC, Fortress Fury is a game where two people build and weaponize their respective castles, then square off at destroying what the other has built. As players win matches, loot and experience can be recovered, then used to craft better equipment.
From Space Ape Games, the makers of Samurai Siege, comes another RTS title called Rival Kingdoms: Age of Ruin due later this month.
It is time for another Android game sale round-up for the end of this week. We are doing it today instead of our usual Friday round-up since we have already talked a lot this week about sales, so we wanted to wait till the very end of this week to make sure we get all the good games into this list this week.
Spacetime Studios has started their Alpha testing phase for their upcoming MOBA for mobile devices titled Call of Champions. If you have missed our previous coverage of this game, Call of Champions is a new MOBA heading our way soon that is geared completely towards mobile gameplay and eventually eSports as well. In fact three of the people in the current Alpha testing phase are former pro League of Legends players Spacetime brought on board to consult in the development of this game.
Originally developed for the Sony PSP back in 2012, Susume Tactics is a Real-Time Strategy game that uses old school, vector-syle graphics. It is all about fast-paced action where the player’s main goal is to destroy the enemy army that is confronting them.
Game of Thrones Ascent is a free-to-play Strategy-RPG title published by Kongregate on Google Play originally. That was back during the Summer of 2014 and now it has finally arrived onto Amazon’s Appstore for Kindle devices. This version does include the newly started Season 5 as well, so it is caught up to the Google Play version.
