Back in March a pretty enjoyable new game called Arcanox: Cards vs Castles was released. Since then the developer has been hard at work making the first major update for Arcanox and today is the day this first update will be released. There have been previous updates but they were small ones, generally about bug fixes and improvements to the game. This one is all new features and content.

With the official launch of the Shield Android TV console, there has also been a few new games to be released alongside the console’s launch. However, not all of these new games are specifically for the Shield Console. Some of these titles are also for the Shield tablet, and there are even a few for all three Shield branded devices. Some of these games people have been waiting to play on their Shield Tablets and now that they are available, during the launch of the Shield Console, you might not be aware that you can play them on your tablet.
Released by indie dev Chasing Carrots, Cosmonautica isn’t your typical space simulator. The game has a bit of a mash-up of trading, “life simulation”, and combat. Players assume the role of the captain of a dilapidated spaceship, and through caring for both it and your crew, try to become the most successful space merchant in the galaxy.

NVIDIA’s new SHIELD Android TV is aiming to be the new king of the set-top boxes: an all-round entertainment system capable of displaying 4K video with 7.1 surround sound, and it also has a serious gaming pedigree. It comes with its own controller and enables you to stream games from NVIDIA’s GRID service in full HD and maximum graphical quality, or even from your own PC over your local network or across the internet. On top of that, though, is a range of hit games that have been revamped especially for the SHIELD, some of them you’ll doubtless already know, and some of which might be new to you. In Schools of Magic, players will assume the role of a powerful mage who sets out to not only found a school of magic, but take down the four other established schools that tyrannically rule over the entire world. Players will face off against other mages, druids, priests, and necromancers by both defending their own school and attacking the others.
The rather popular and somewhat minimalistic RTS game Rymdkapsel will be getting an update next week. Developed by Grapefrukt, the company has announced that the update will bring two new game modes to Rymdkapsel as well as some other goodies for players to enjoy.
Outplay is a game development studio that has seen some pretty big growth over the past year. Well the company is celebrating turning 4yrs old and to celebrate, Outplay is developing four new games that will be arriving in the near future. If Outplay doesn’t seem familiar to you, you more than likely know some of their games, with their biggest one being a partnership effort with Rovio with the Angel Birds Stella Pop! game that was recently released.
Released by Joycity, Dungeon Tracker is a Dungeon Crawler crossed with a Battle RPG. Players will assume the role of a summoner who catches and controls the summoned creatures, in order to overcome enemies through building up a deck from those cards; regarding the creature cards, there are over 300 within the game which are all controlled through a tap and swipe system in battle.
For those of you who play Battle Camp and haven’t played in a few days, there has been a new update that was released a couple of days ago called the Domination Content Update. This update brings a new Conquer event to the game where players will be competing with other players in order to capture elemental towers. Holding towers earns you trophies and capturing all five towers will give you a big boost to your troops as well.
