Herocraft has released a new roguelike RPG onto Android today called Dead Shell, which is something a little different when it comes to this publisher. Dead Shell is about settling on what is known as a DOOM-4 planet, which doesn’t sound too friendly, and it isn’t.
Survival games have grown in popularity over the past year or so, with titles like DayZ, Rust and so on for PC gamers to enjoy. Well there is a development studio called HooDoo Games (formally known as Cyclops Games) currently developing a similar style of survival game for Android devices. It is time once again for our end of the week round-up of all the Android games that happen to be on sale right now. This week’s round-up actually has a decent amount of games on sale, most of which are pretty big titles with Modern Combat 5: Blackout, The Tiny Bang Story, Star Command and more.

Back in December of last year we were following the Kickstarter campaign for Pier Solar HD, a remake of the massive retro style RPG game for Sega Mega Drive / Genesis that was released in 2010 and soon to be coming to the Dreamcast as well. Their Kickstarter campaign was so successful that Android and Ouya versions were confirmed to be in the works as well.
Herocraft has announced that they will be publishing a new TCG soon that will be based off of the Warhammer 40K franchise. This new TCG will be arriving for both iOS and Android gamers who are fans of the Warhammer 40K franchise although the title’s release isn’t for a bit.

They are available for Android and iOS but something about these continuous runner games keeps me coming back for more.
