All Your Base Are Belong To Us: Star Wars Base Command Review

Thanks to titles such as SolForge, Order & Chaos: Duels, and Heartstone, collectible card games have emerged as an incredibly popular genre on mobile platforms. That EA wished to capitalize on the popularity of the genre and add to the proliferation of TCGs in the Play Store is no real surprise. However, that EA decided to put forth a TCG in the form of the Base Command mini-game included in the Star Wars Battlefront companion app, is quite the surprise.

Massively popular card game Exploding Kittens is coming to Android soon

Fans of the card game that was a Kickstarter phenom (getting $8 million+ in funding), there is good news: Exploding Kittens is coming soon to Android. The gameplay for the original card game is simple, in that players may play any number of cards they desire from their hand. At the end of their turn, they must draw a card, and then the next player does the same. Play continues until someone draws a card of an exploding kitty, at which point the player in question loses.

Konami announces a new Yu-Gi-Oh! Game for Spring of 2016 and an update for Duel Generations

Konami has announced that Yu-Gi-Oh! titles will be coming out to a variety of platforms, including Android, this Spring. For the uninitiated, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a manga series that had a related card game that is insanely popular (frequently with younger crowds) about a boy named Yugi Mutou who solves the ancient Millennium Puzzle, and awakens a ‘gambling alter-ego’ within his body that solves his conflicts using various games.

Upcoming TCG called Valhalla Lost drops closed beta tags in exchange for open beta tags today

Back in the beginning of September 2015 we reported on a new TCG/CCG heading our way called Valhalla Lost. Developed by Proficient City Limited, this particular game has been in closed beta testing since we reported on it originally a couple of months ago. However, those closed beta tags have been dropped and replaced with new, freshly stamped and polished, open beta tags instead.
