Back in December of last year we talked about a rather cool looking turn-based multiplayer combat game called TurtleStrike. This particular game is similar in style to other games of this nature such as Worms, except this has turtles packing big weaponry instead of a bunch of worms. When the game begins, players will create three different formations using a total of 10 turtles each.

Upcoming TCG called Tridek: Creatures of Galena is a little bit different than your typical TCG
While there is no shortage of TCG (Trading Card Games) available for mobile platforms like Android, this also means that the format of these games doesn’t change a whole lot either, giving us a bit of a predictable style of gameplay regardless of what title we are playing from this genre. Tridek: Creatures of Galena is an upcoming card combat game that is aiming to change up the standard format of gameplay found in your typical TCG title.
Rovio’s recently announced third-party publishing brand, called Rovio Stars, will be launching their first game onto Android on July 11th, 2013. While iOS already has had one of the two games already announced to be coming under the Rovio Stars brand, that being Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage, our first game will end up being Tiny Thief from 5 Ants.
Noodlecake Studios have been doing an excellent job bringing some of the more popular iOS games over to Android over the past while now and one of their next releases will be the ever popular Minecraft-inspired The Blockheads by Majic Jungle Software. This particular game is pretty interesting as it looks like a spin-off of Terraria but actually plays out a lot like Minecraft, especially when it comes to building things.
The rather strange concept of what would happen if a city, say Tokyo, happen to suddenly be overrun with a jungle and the animals took the city back over landed on Playstation 3 not too long ago. It’s a game you’ll either love or absolutely hate, there really isn’t much of an in-between with this title. However, it’s popular enough that a mobile version is heading to Playstation Mobile in the very near future.
HyperDevBox, for those of you unfamiliar with this development company, make some pretty epic games not only with the game itself in terms of content and visuals but also in actual size, with the average game weighing in at over 1.5GB in size. While things have been a little quite from HyperDevBox, they have finally broken the silence and it shall be the Xbox/PS3 game Record of Agarest War.
Actos Games is currently working on a minimalistic looking fantasy-themed Puzzle-RPG title called Apexicon. When we first thing of a Puzzle-RPG title, we usually think it is an RPG mixed with match-3 puzzle gaming for its combat. That is usually the formula that most games in this genre follow. However, Apexicon doesn’t follow this at all.
Crescent Moon Games happens to be continuing their consistent releasing of games onto Android with Gears landing on Google Play yesterday as a temporary exclusive for Sony devices and now today we have news that Evertales will be arriving onto Android at some point this week. It could even be as early as tomorrow.
Vincent Belorgey who happens to be knows as the french house artist and Outrun album producer Kavinsky, will be releasing a game onto multiple mobile platforms in the near future. The game itself will also be called Kavinsky and is apparently the first game to be based off of an actual music album. However this isn’t some Rock Bands type of game and is, instead, an old school style brawler with some rather interesting features.
A nuclear apocalypse is serious business usually, half the time resulting in the end of the world while the other half of the time it results in zombies or mutated monsters overrunning the planet. At least that is what the usual scenario is when it comes to nuclear apocalypses and video games. Nuclear Outrun by Nerdook Productions and Nightspade (a.k.a The Gamenauts) follows this mindset but adds a healthy dose of humor to the mix to liven things up a bit.
