Evil Master Overload is an upcoming dungeon defense game where you will be playing as the Evil Master Overlord who is protecting his dungeon from heroes who are trying to rid the land of evil, which means you. So you’ll need to construct each dungeon with the hopes that between the maze you create, the traps you set and the minions you let loose, that the hero invading your dungeon will be killed.
Com2Us is doing what a few other companies tend to do when gearing up for a new game release, they are offering early registration with the ability to snag a prize or two for registering early. The game is called Heroes War and this is a turn-based RPG title that will be released onto Android sometime in August.
With Shield’s launch arriving tomorrow, there are plenty of titles already optimized for the device. However it looks like two more games will be making an appearance either at some point today or tomorrow. Harebrained Schemes have finally launched Shadowrun Returns onto PC via Steam as of yesterday and while this probably made a lot of people happy there is on question that remains – Where is the tablet version of the game promised in the Kickstarter campaign? As you’ve probably noticed, it isn’t available for Android and iOS tablet users yet. Well last week a new trailer was released for Shadowrun Returns and that is where something quietly happened, the release information changed.
We’ve already covered a lot of the details regarding Gameloft’s upcoming addition to their Asphalt franchise called Asphalt 8: Airborne in a previous article when the game was first announced as heading to Android soon. Well during today’s press event that Google held, Gameloft apparently had Asphalt 8: Airborne demonstrated, showing the game optimized for the new Nexus 7 tablets.
GREE and Marvel have partnered together and are going to be releasing a comic book tie-in game called X-Men: Battle of the Atom. Marvel has a cross-over comic book event that will be happening soon and this game will be tied into it when the event starts. The overall storyline behind everything, without spoiling it, has to do with the history of the X-Men and players will be experiencing 50 years of mutant X-Men history and beyond.
Back near the beginning of this month Writers’ Film Group Corp went ahead and bought Amiga Games Inc, a company that republishes classic Amiga games onto new platforms such as smartphones and tablets. Writers’ Film Group Corp is a company that specializes in a few things but one of their main focuses is digital content distribution so picking up Amiga Games Inc is something that makes sense since they were wanting to expanding in to the mobile gaming markets.
Games Workshop is a company known for a few big franchises that have been around for awhile and have graced a variety of platforms including physical games. We now have some of their games making the journey to mobile as well with one of the most recent titles to come from the Games Workshop catalog being Talisman Prologue. Well you can look forward to another board game coming your way soon called Chainsaw Warrior.
