One of the most famous horror movie characters recently made his way to Mortal Kombat X for PC and console, but unfortunately not for mobile. That, however, has changed today and right in time for Halloween no less. Jason Voorhees is now available as a playable character in the mobile version of Mortal Kombat X.

11-bit Studios posted a new video blog on their YouTube channel, which is something they do on a regular basis where they talk about what the company has been working on lately. However, this time there was some pretty interesting news regarding their latest game This War Of Mine. Currently this game is only available on tablets (not including PC and console versions), but that appears to be changing and as soon as next month.
Another major title has received a Halloween update and this time it is for NetMarble’s Marvel Future Fight game. This new update brings with it some new characters, new costumes, a new Event Stage, a new Alliance battle and more. For a Halloween themed update, this is one of the bigger ones we’ve seen so far this year.
Up until today anyone who publishes an Android game or application onto Google Play had a limit as to how high of a price they could charge. If you’ve been using Android since it was released, you may remember a long time ago a few applications popping up that were ridiculously priced, ranging from $99-$200. We’re not sure what happened to those but we do know the average pricing of apps and games on Google Play is between $0-$5, with a decent amount being $5+ but rarely over $10. Square Enix, of course, is one of those exceptions to the rule, with games regularly priced at $10-$15.
Google seems to have been very busy as of late, recently having released an update to their YouTube Gaming application for direct live gameplay streaming from supported Android devices to YouTube Gaming. Now Google Play Games has been updated as well with the ability to record yourself playing games on your Android device.
Another game has received a Halloween themed update and this time it is the rather popular Ski Safari 2 title. For this particular game, Halloween has brought a new level, a bunch of new challenges, and of course, new costumes and items for players to dress up in.
Telltale Games recently released the first episode of their highly anticipated new series Minecraft: Story Mode. The first episode, called the Order of the Stone, is available on pretty much every platform now since its release. However, the new trailer was released to celebrate the game’s physical copies now being available in actual brick and mortar stores.
Every year at around this time developers pump out plenty of updates for their games, all of which are themed around Halloween. Snail Games’ MMORPG called Taichi Panda is no exception to that rule either, having released a new update that brings all kinds of Halloween goodies to their game.
New upcoming cross-over with Puzzle & Dragons happens to be with Square Enix’s Final Fantasy franchise
Puzzle & Dragons from GungHo Entertainment gets a lot of collaborations (Rovio, Hello Kitty, etc), which is when another game and its characters show up in this game. The newest one happens to be with Square Enix and their Final Fantasy games. Yes, this means the entire franchise and not just one game in it.
gumi inc. will be hosting a Halloween event within their Wakfu Raider’s game that begins today and runs for the next few weeks. The Halloween event in question will have everything in the game decorated in the spirit of Halloween, and this includes all the dungeons as well.
