If you like the Gameboy Advance’s library you’ll probably like developer zongzh’s GameBoid. It’s simple to set-up, supports every method of control Android does, and it’s easy on the eyes. At a fraction of the cost of Nintendo’s original handheld it’s an easy fix for that meddling Final Fantasy Tactics Advance addiction you had back in the day.
A great contagion of purpleness has overtaken the animal kingdom in this challenging, turn-based strategy, and it’s your job to fix it. Pick the right furries for the job, and you’ll restore order in no time. Everlands is a relatively deep, turn-based strategy game in which you are tasked with fighting the great purple legions of corrupted forest animals.

ARM’s promise with Cortex A-9 chips has been tremendous. Will they really keep up with modern games, especially the pace there moving at today? Not only does it support the newest CPU’s available, similar to the ones’s Samsung is working on. It will also include a much improved (and needed) GPU improvement for video quality in games, this will be likely on tablets and high-end smartphones.
SigmaSoft has contacted us adding that warzone will be recieving two major updates in the near future. Warzone developer, Sigmasoft has decided to lower the price of Warzone to 99 cents – at least for now. As the game improves the price will probably increase but right now its a solid deal for content like this and with more coming soon you should get in while you still can! [Video after break]
Here at DroidGamers we try and highlight what’s important and popular, but we try to highlight what we think has potential to be as well. Warzone’s is Sigmasoft’s first Android Market release and it’s genre can best be described as a mix between 2D tower defense and tank battle. Sigmasoft’s first title is and we think it’s a perfect example of an underdone masterpiece in the works.
XDA – a long running online community known best for their persistence in hacking smartphones has officially prevailed over the notoriously difficult to crack HTC G2. Just a month after it’s release HTC’s complex anti-hacking software (and hardware, apparently) has been rendered useless. Measured Software’s newest title on the market (now complete with OpenFeint) Pocket Racing is what mobile gaming is supposed to be. It’s fast, it’s addicting and best of all it’s good. An online multiplayer mode will come out sometime in the future. Continue past the break for the full review.
Uniwar is TBS Games’ most recent, and most recently updated turn-based tactics game available now on the Android Market. Featuring rich multiplayer, a familiar Advance Wars style of strategy and a Starcraft theme TBS Games has developed something really compelling here and it’s definitely landed itself on our to-follow list.
With NVIDIA’s newest mobile platform, launching later in the year for phones and tablet devices developer support continues to appear strong for the promising new, graphics heavy platform. Developer SouthPeak Interactive has announced multiple games to take full advantage of the newer, more powerful mobile chipset.
