Twitch is a great platform to watch broadcasters playing games, regardless of the platform they are playing it on, and having gamers watching them do that or the latest eSports event. However, one major feature that has always been missing from the mobile application has been the ability to properly support your favorite streamer with a subscription.
Released by IGG, Clash and Smash is a new tactical game for casual players. Set in a mythological world, players will need to stop Hel, the goddess of death, from conquering the world. Players will need to draw on legendary characters pulled from Norse mythology, both gods and heroes, to create a squad that can end her fell reign.
Kiloo Games have announced that their newest title, called Tesla Tubes, will be launching onto mobile devices later this month. This particular game is an interesting little puzzler where players will be trying to connect the matching batteries and cover your circuit board with tubes to power up a magical machine park.
Rayark Games as we have mentioned in the past, makes some pretty amazing looking games. We had heard directly from Rayark when we interviewed them last year, that there would be an update to their popular game, Implosion: Never Lose Hope. Rayark just released a new trailer for that update, entitled Last Man Standing. We can’t wait for this new content to hit because it looks phenomenal!
IGG’s Clash of Lords 2 game on Android has hit the 2yr old mark, and to celebrate that the company has released an update for it. While part of the update adds features and new heroes just like as if it were a typical update, the other portion adds a few goodies for players to enjoy that are themed around the anniversary celebration.
Released by Zotnip, Bik is a point-and-click space adventure that’s been re-released on to Android. Originally Bik was released onto Android back in August 2014 but has since been enhanced and optimized. In this adventure, players will assume the role of a young boy named Bik, who’s been abducted by aliens. Bik needs to find his way home, and relies on some of his newfound, alien friends to do so.
We don’t talk about cancellations at shows too often, mainly because it really doesn’t happen too often. When it does happen, it’s usually not for a game we are watching. However, this particular cancellation is about a game we’ve been following for awhile now. One game we were pretty eager to see in action, and hopefully get some hands-on time with, was Niantic’s upcoming Pokemon GO title.
The successfully funded (Kickstarter) indie adventure game Thimbleweed Park has received a new trailer for gamers who are interested in this title to check out. The story is being developed by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, and features a retro look to it which is similar to adventure games from back in the day when PC titles like this were quite popular.
There are only a few applications for mobile devices in that ‘instant streaming’ category of things. One of those is Periscope, where you start up the application on your phone or tablet and using your devices and the Periscope app, stream whatever you are doing in real life to people who feel like tuning in to watch. This can be anything from event coverage and interviews at shows like E3, down to watching someone eat french fries.
Fincon, the developers behind the cross-platform multiplayer Action-RPG title Angel Stone, has released their big 3.0 update called The New Beginning. This update brings all kinds of changes, improvements, and content/feature additions to the game.
