There is certainly plenty of options when it comes to Virtual Reality headsets these days and we aren’t even a full three months into this year. One of the newer ones on the scene that has been receiving a lot of interest lately is the OSVR Headset. OSVR stands for Open Source Virtual Reality and, as the name implies, is completely open source from the hardware to the software and everything in between.

Beast Towers aims to brings back the fun once had in games like the Warcraft III tower defense mod
Baptiste Largaiolli is a game developer who once loved the Warcraft III Tower Defense Mod that a lot of people used to play a long time ago, back when Warcraft III was quite popular. Since he couldn’t find the same sort of experience on mobile in this day and age, Baptiste decided to make his own, called Beast Towers, and it is now available on Google Play.
There is a new endless jumper on Google Play today called Tree Jump Adventure by Nenad Kajgana which is, as you can tell from this article’s title, a one-man developer team. Considering this game was made by one person, it is actually pretty impressive considering how nice the visuals are and how good it all blends together with the soundtrack.
Babel Rising 3D is by no means a new game on Android. This game, developed by Mando Productions and published by AMA LTD, has been around since 2012 in all its forms, whether it be the free version, the paid version, or the ‘Sponsored’ version. Now it is available for the Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition headset and because this is a virtual reality based device, there are a few tweaks to the game to make it a more virtual experience.
As we mentioned a few weeks back, Land Air Sea Warfare (LASW) is an RTS game that was originally released on desktops, followed by iOS, and eventually Android. After playing, and at times enjoying, LASW, this game isn’t ready for “prime time”. I have a soft spot for this genre, and this high hopes for this game. While the developer seems to have added some ways to make it easier to move masses of units quickly (a must on touch-based hardware such as phones and tablet), there are too many flaws and oversights to justify the In-App Purchasing price of $4.99.
[Update: Full Release] 3D MMORPG Izanagi Online launching next month but closed beta signs-up are live now
Izanagi Online is an upcoming MMORPG that is being made specifically for mobile devices. Developed using Unreal Engine, this particular game is themed around Samurais, Ninjas, and of course, killing monsters and completing quests. Actually if you have played any of the Asian MMORPGs available for PC, then you have a pretty good idea of what to expect to a certain degree with Izanagi Online. Even the visual style is similar.

Sure enough, here it is along with a synopsis of what you can expect story-wise in this new episode.
Santa Ragione is a studio that is based in Milan, Italy. It was created by two friends, Pietro Righi Riva and Nicolo Tedeschi back in 2010. Their latest project Fotonica, is now available in the Google Play Store. We have had our eyes on this game for some time, since it was released on iOS last year. If you want to bypass the review, here’s the short version, hit the download button!
Last week Taichi Panda suddenly became available to more people in more locations to play. While at first we jumped onto the ‘oh it has finally released globally’, we paused on that for a moment as it didn’t jive with what we already knew about the upcoming launch. As it turns out we were right to do that as our guess of the current beta testing phase expanding was the correct one. Today our friends over at Snail Games have gotten in touch with us to let us know that there is an official release date for a global launch.
A couple of days ago Telltale Games released a promotional image to begin teasing their next installment into the Game of Thrones series which is Episode 3: The Sword in the Darkness. However, the only thing they released was that singular promo image which, aside from the one dragon on it, didn’t show anything else. Today the company has released some screenshots for a much more better teasing of Episode 3.
