It is time once again for another Weekend Play Game Review. Weekend Play gives Droid Gamers an opportunity to highlight some games that may have been overlooked in a busy week of game releases. Back during CES 2015 we got to sit down with Gameloft and go hands-on with their upcoming addition to their Dungeon Hunter franchise, that being Dungeon Hunter 5. Com2Us seems to be making a pretty decent push in Android gaming so far in 2015 with the global release of a couple of games already onto Google Play. However today the company has announced that pre-launch registration is now live for their next title called Soul Seeker which will also be seeing a global release in the coming weeks.

If you own an Ouya Android console and happen to enjoy games with robots in them, then there is a new bundle available as of today on the Ouya Marketplace you might want to check out called the ROBO Bundle. The bundle comes with a total of four games, all of which feature mechanical versions of human beings.
This year’s Super Bowl saw three mobile games with ads being shown during the big game. Each 30-second spot cost each company behind those games around $4.3 million dollars. The three games that advertised during the game was Clash of Clans, Game of War – Fire Age, and Heroes Charge. So the real question is, was it worth the $4.3 million that was spent?

This game, developed by Ice Water Games, lets players grow a digital potted plant in real time.
Young readers might wonder why the internet is filled with so much lament over the fallen blue hero. Sonic The Hedgehog has become the mascot equivalent of Val Kilmer, depressing us with his bloated antics. Dozens of failed games, countless reboots, and now the Sonic Boom atrocity have all but killed this once great franchise. Sega has even announced they’ll no longer be making console games and be focusing only on mobile and PC markets.
Handy Games has announced their newest WWII-themed strategy game called 1942 Pacific Front and thankfully we do have some details about this game as well as some screenshots. This game features different locations that are filled with hexagon shaped spaces in which you will move your troops around in. Since this is a WWII-themed game, your units consist of different types of foot soldiers, tanks, airplanes, and even naval military units.
