Survivalcraft, which is basically like Minecraft on steroids right now, has received a pretty massive update today that brings with it plenty of changes and new features to the game. For those of you who play this game, you’ll notice that a few of these changes are pretty significant to how you play the game in terms of new game mechanics like horse riding.

So while everyone sits waiting patiently for the upcoming Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.0 update to arrive which will introduce true multiplayer functionality to the game via Minecraft Realms, there is other features coming with the update, one possibly being the arrival of Buckets finally.
All sarcasm aside, Epic Devs have finally finished their rather highly anticipated action sim game Epic Pirate Story and the game has now finally arrived onto the Google Play store. The has seemed to take forever to get finished but now that it has, Kairosoft fans can go nuts with the fact that there are no two companies making these type of retro sim games for Android.
Spirit Walkers, by casual game lords G5, provides some pretty typical casual fun for at least several hours. It costs 5 bucks, though, and obviously a lot of players in the comments section think that the price was much too high. I laugh at the idea; not only is 5 dollars for even a short game a steal, but it’s especially a steal considering how nicely made this game is.
For those of you who can’t get enough Angry Birds games in your life, you will be happy to know that there is yet another one heading our way soon. However this particular Angry Birds game already exists but on Facebook instead of mobile, that is until now of course. Rovio has announced that Angry Birds Friends will be making its way to Android and iOS devices in the near future.

Today I am covering two games that combined have been download a billion times, Subway Surfer and Temple Run 2. Why? Both of these are games that I just seem to have a hard time putting down. They are available for Android and iOS but something about these continuous runner games keeps me coming back for more.
Chillingo has released a new hybrid game but this time it isn’t some sort of math-3 RPG type of title like most hybrid Match-3 games tend to be. Instead Puzzle Craft is more of a Match-3 city building sim type of game. While most of the features and duties that you would normally find in a city building sim game, the developers have integrated a match-3 mechanic into the mix.
Back in August of last year we talked about Popcap and the fact that they had announced a sequel would be heading our way for their popular defense game Plants vs Zombies. Back then Plants vs Zombies 2 was slated for release in late Spring of 2013 and now that date has been pushed back slightly.
