Linden Labs, the company behind Second Life, releases Creatorverse onto Android

Moving from the world of MMOs and other online multiplayer creative projects for PC gamers, Linden Labs has broken away from their main ‘game’ Second Life in order to bring mobile gamers on iOS and Android a new type of creative sandbox type of game called Creatorverse. Released yesterday onto Android, this game lets you basically draw whatever it is you feel like, connecting different shapes and what not with connectors, and then allowing you to have it go ‘live’ which then applies things like real world physics to whatever it is that you just created.

My Little Pony Review: Friendship is PUSH NOTIFICATION

I’m supposed to explain to you what I thought about My Little Pony, a new adorable city-builder by Gameloft. I could make it really easy and say that it is a pretty charming, well-made city-builder and mini-game collection that is really nothing new. Sure, it has a nice pink coating of Pony magic all over it, but the mechanics have been seen a million times. This is par for the Gameloft course; they specialize in re-creation.

Keeping it Casual #1: The Backflip Madness Review

As the Android world evolves, so does the content that is being released into the Play store. What was once a platform dominated by great casual games such as Cut the Rope and Dragon Fly, is now being taken over by the more ‘hardcore’ of games like Need for Speed, Shadowgun and Modern Combat. Controllers are being introduced and the Ouya is on the horizon. This is where I wish to go back to basics, highlighting the best casual games that deserve to be noticed and get them out of the shadows of the bigger budget games. Our first game is Backflip Madness by Gamesoul Studios.

22 Cans apologizes for Curiosity game connectivity issues and bugs with a video

When Peter Molyneux and his new studio, 22 Cans, released their social game experiment Curiosity: What’s Inside the Cube? the other day, they didn’t expect the response to be as overwhelming as it has been, having seen a much larger install and player base than originally expected. A lot of people want to know what is inside a cube and with Peter Molyneux promising it’ll blow your mind, I think everyone is a little bit curiosity as to what is in there.
