When the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 were announced this year there was a heavy focus on second-screen experiences as well as social features that both consoles would be coming having integrated into them. The Playstation 4 seemed to have more of a foothold on the whole thing, pushing the second-screen experiences and social features a lot more during their presentation and upcoming games.

Ouya said, back before the console launched, that their Android-powered console would see new versions of it being released with updated hardware on a regular basis. The company did warn everyone that this would basically mean that a new console would be released every year or pretty much every year as long as their is a substantial upgrade in hardware to do.
One of the biggest issues with the Ouya game console is the fact people have no real way to have external storage usage. So once your internal storage is filled up, you’re kind of left in the dark as to what to do. It’s a problem Ouya is well aware of and have been working on it for a bit now. The good news is it looks like a solution is coming closer to happening.
Another week and more Ouya game releases have arrived for those of you who happen to own one of the Android-powered consoles. In today’s Ouya Game Watch we have two new games from Radiangames that just arrived for Ouya, a cool time traveling puzzle game and a skill-based platformer.
OUYA has come out today with an announcement regarding the content which will be arriving soon for their Android-powered game console. According the to company, they already have around 10,000 developers signed up and working titles for their game console.
Back in January of this year we talked about how the popular Xbox Live indie platformer Fez would be coming to a variety of additional platforms. Unfortunately at that time there wasn’t any solid confirmation as to which platforms Fez would be arriving on. Now we have a much better idea after Phil Fish went and held an IAmA on Reddit yesterday.
For those of you who backed the Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming Android-powered gaming console OUYA, the company is planning to host a party in San Francisco this upcoming March 28th, 2013 in order to say thank you as well as to celebrate the launch of the units for those of you who backed their Kickstarter.

A couple of interesting tidbits of news regarding the upcoming Android-powered game console OUYA have come out this morning. It seems like things just keep getting better and better for this little console, first with plenty of content from developers both big and small being made for it, and now some major retail power has been signed on to sell units both online and at physical storefronts.
When we talk about a Kickstarter campaign being extremely successful it doesn’t necessarily mean that the campaign made millions of dollars in funding. Such is the case of PlayJam’s GameStick Kickstarter campaign that we have been following since it started and which has now finally ended.
