Back when Nvidia was hosting their Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales, one of the features for this sale was the Green Box Bundle which featured games from Valve such as Portal and Half-Life 2. One of those games was Half-Life 2: Episode One and was only available in that bundle for people who purchased an Nvidia Shield tablet. Now the game is officially available for anyone who owns an Nvidia Shield tablet.

Black Friday is almost upon us and when that day arrives, the general population of the United States loses their minds and goes on a shopping spree. Of course this is because every merchant puts all their goods on sale with deep discounts. Nvidia is planning to jump in on the action with offering up a Black Friday sale for their Shield Portable and their 32GB LTE Shield Tablet.
Today Nvidia has made a trio of announcement regarding their Shield Tablet and all of it is good news for owners of these tablets. First, and we all knew this was coming anyways from previous teasing from Nvidia, Lollipop will be arriving for the Shield Tablet this month, more specifically November 18th, 2014. So basically in five days we should get the new Android OS.

In all seriousness, whenever there is a new Android device that aims to be quite popular, developers always rush to announce their currents games getting updated with compatibility, which is a good thing of course. Gameloft is usually one of the first companies to make these announcements each time and the Nexus Player is no exception.
As we get closer to Halloween we always try to find some cool zombie or horror games to play. One game we happen to be playing is Trigger Happy: Halloween by Lunagames. This particular title is pretty straightforward in that you are charged with the mission of killing as many undead zombies as you possibly can.
While this new title from Thumbstar Games can be played any time of the year, it is more fitting right now with Halloween around the corner. GunFinger is an FPS style game featuring, you guessed it, zombies. Lots and lots of zombies actually which fits right in with this month’s holiday.
Emulating another operating system on a platform not native to said operating system isn’t a new thing. There are plenty of emulators out there that can emulate just about anything you want, even on a platform like Samsung Gear Live. So while putting Window95 onto your Gear Live might seem a bit odd of an idea at first, until the cool factor sets in. Of course playing DOOM on it definitely adds to that.
Gameloft’s latest installment into their Modern Combat franchise is finally on sale which means those of you who have been waiting for a price drop to happen before picking this game up can now head over to Google Play and snag a copy for cheap.
As many of you may know by know, Dead Trigger 2 from Madfinger Games has had some tournaments for players to compete in with prizes ranging from in-game cash to actual physical prizes. So far they have been short tournaments but the new ITHACA Tour is much bigger than anything already held.
